As Q3 growth jumps 5.7%, Arthur Sadoun praises Publicis' AI-powered pace.
Building on its impressive organic growth of +5.7% for the third quarter of 2025 (Q3'25), Publicis Groupe has increased its prediction for organic growth for the entire year. The quarter's great performance outperformed the first half of 2025's high growth of +5.4%.The business has increased its forecast for organic growth in the full year (FY) 2025 to a new range of +5% to +5.5%. This represents an improvement over the original estimate of +4% to +5%. A number of factors, including consistent client spending (without any significant budget cuts or slowdowns) and growing demand for its AI-powered goods and services, underpin the decision to increase the outlook. Long-term scope development with current clients, a robust business environment for new ventures, and a more advantageous competitive environment are all important growth drivers.Arthur Sadoun, Publicis Groupe's chairman and CEO, "Q3 was yet another excellent quarter, exceeding forecasts, with no slowdown in customer demand. At Publicis, we are proving that artificial intelligence is not a pipe dream but rather a current reality that is propelling our expansion. We are demonstrating once more how our distinct AI-powered methodology may help us acquire market share and establish ourselves as a Category of One. We achieved organic growth of +5.7%, which significantly widened the gap with our counterparts by over 700bps2. In addition to not seeing any significant reductions in marketing expenditures, we also witnessed a surge in demand for our AI-powered goods and services. This was evident in our Epsilon-powered Connected advertising initiatives, which had high single-digit growth as a result of our capacity to use AI to link influencers, commerce, and paid advertising. Due to the growing demand for customized content, our AI production platform experienced double-digit growth. Additionally, Publicis Sapient maintained its favorable results for the second consecutive quarter thanks to our capacity to create agentic networks for clients that are looking to de-silo their own businesses. We anticipate that this upward trend will continue throughout Q4. Because of this, we are comfortable raising the higher end of our prediction to +5.5% for our 2025 organic growth guidance. Additionally, we are reporting that our already industry-leading margin has improved to just over 18% throughout the course of the year. With net new billings for the first nine months of the year already surpassing our 2024 total, we are now planning for 2026 because of our unparalleled new business track record. For the seventh consecutive year, we anticipate outperforming the industry the following year. I want to express my gratitude to our teams for their exceptional work in getting us to this point and to our clients for their ongoing trust.

He continues to serve as Wholetime Director & Head of B2C Sales, although the company has named Saugata Basuray as Interim CEO, effective January 2026.A board decision states that Lele will formally step down as Managing Director on December 31, 2025, at the end of business. His decision to "pursue other opportunities" is cited as the reason. Since assuming leadership duties not long ago, his time as MD has been rather short.Saugata Basuray will take on the additional role of Interim CEO on January 1, 2026, until a new Managing Director is chosen. He is still employed in his previous role as Head of B2C Sales and Wholetime Director. His title will be changed to "Wholetime Director & Interim CEO" in light of the new hire. Having worked for Castrol since 1999 in a variety of leadership roles across verticals and territories, Basuray is an experienced veteran of the organization. Leadership development: While a more permanent replacement is being found, Basuray is a viable temporary option due to his extensive expertise and institutional memory. Market reaction: The revelation caused the company's share price to slightly decline, indicating that investors are sensitive to changes in the company's leadership. The upcoming strategic period: This change in leadership comes at a time when the lubricant industry is dealing with issues related to changing mobility trends, like electric cars, the need for sustainability, and shifting automotive ecosystems.

Company Behind 'Bigg Boss Kannada' Takes Legal Action Against Premises Sealing and Contestant Eviction by Pollution Control Board
VELS Studio And Entertainment Private Limited, the host of the reality show 'Big Boss Kannada' at its Bidadi location, has approached the Karnataka High Court to contest an October 6 order from the State Pollution Control Board that mandated the immediate closure of the studio premises. The petition claims that the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board's action is arbitrary, illegal, and lacks jurisdiction, authority, and compliance with due process. It indicates that the closure order dated 06.10.2025 was carried out on the following day, 07.10.2025 (Tuesday), concerning the petitioner's property located in Bidadi, Ramanagara District, which contains the legitimate operations of VELS Studios and Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. The petition claims that the order was issued with complete disregard for natural justice principles, denying the petitioner a chance to be heard.According to the plea, the respondents have tried to suddenly stop ongoing television production activities, including filming the well-known reality show "BIG BOSS", while acting beyond their authority and with a clear intention to harm. Moreover, it is claimed that the timing and rush involved in passing and executing the order—occurring as they did at the same time as the launch and public broadcast of that show—demonstrate a conscious and intentional effort to disrupt the Petitioner's legitimate business activities and impede its commercial operations. Additionally, the plea argues that the order lacks details regarding the supposed pollutant, including its characteristics, concentration, and the method by which this pollution is alleged to have happened. Without these specifics, the order turns indistinct, capricious, and lacks justification. Moreover, the Respondent authority has not documented even minimal findings as mandated by law for a quasi-judicial order, thus breaching fundamental principles of natural justice.an industrial establishment or factory. According to Section 2(d) of the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, 1981, an "environmental pollutant" is defined as any substance that exists at a concentration detrimental to human life. Data from laboratory or clinical tests must necessarily support such a finding. In the current case, no such data or test report has been used as a basis. The Respondent's actions have been based solely on assumptions, which has made the impugned order arbitrary and unsustainable. The plea requests that the closure order be set aside. Meanwhile, it is seeking a stay on the operation of the order from October 6 and a direction to the respondents not to disrupt the daily business carried out at those premises.

I have progressed in my life, and everyone else should as well.Chahal dismissed the speculation, labeling the claims as “baseless and exhausting.” He further explained that he has progressed beyond this phase of his life. GST reform: starting Monday, these goods will be subject to the highest tax. View the complete list
September 22 GST changes: Under the new tax structure, which goes into effect on Monday, items falling within these categories will be subject to the newly revised highest tax rate of 40% GST. View the items' list here. After its 56th meeting on September 3, 2025, the GST Council, which is led by the Indian federal government, voted to streamline the indirect tax system in India by redesigning the current goods and service tax (GST) slab structure into a "two-tier" system.Indian customers will benefit from a revamped "two-tier" tax structure that goes into effect on Monday, September 22, 2025. Depending on the type of commodity sold in the country, it will be subject to either the 5% or 18% tax band. In India, GST is now imposed in four slabs: 5%, 12%, 18%, and 28%. However, the government has since modified these slabs. Many products sold in the Indian economy will see price reductions as a result of the federal government's action; nevertheless, starting Monday, a wide range of products will also be subject to higher consumer taxes. 1. Sin Goods: Generally speaking, sin goods are things that are detrimental to society and health, such as cigarettes and pan masala. Luxury cars: Four-wheelers with an internal combustion engine (ICE) capacity greater than 1,200cc and a length greater than four meters were also placed in a 40% tax level by the GST Council. In the past, the ex-showroom pricing of SUVs and MPVs, which are included in this group, was increased by 28% GST and 22% Cess. 3. Over 350cc two-wheelers: The GST Council raised the tax rate for two-wheelers with engines larger than 350cc from 28% GST and 3% Cess to 40%. Despite the removal of the Cess levy, two-wheelers with engines larger than 350cc will now be subject to a higher tax rate. 4. Soft drinks: The central government raised the GST rate from 28% to 40%, which will result in a price increase for soft drinks and other non-alcoholic beverages like Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Fanta, and flavor-infused waters. 5. Items that cost more when you're in the 18% tax bracket: Items that will be subject to GST at the higher 18% slab starting on Monday, September 22, 2025, include dining at restaurants, particularly those with air conditioning and premium outlets; consumer durables like refrigerators, washing machines, and air conditioners; beauty and grooming services at salons and spas; and high-end smartphones and imported devices.

The Nifty was up 104.5 points, or 0.42 percent, at 24,973.10 at the closing, while the Sensex was up 323.83 points, or 0.40 percent, at 81,425.15.We'll be returning tomorrow morning with all the most recent news and alerts as we wind up today's Moneycontrol live market blog. To view all of the global market activity, please visit https://www.moneycontrol.com/markets/global-indices.On Wednesday, markets gained almost half a percent, continuing their upward trajectory. Following a gap-up beginning, the Nifty index spent the first half of the day moving within a small range. However, volatility in the second half of the day reduced some gains, and it ultimately finished around 24,973 levels. With advances of more than 2.5 percent, the IT sector maintained its recovery, followed by the real estate, banking, and energy sectors. The auto industry, on the other hand, saw profit booking following multiple outperforming sessions, losing more than 1%. With the midcap and smallcap indices rising between 0.75% and 1%, market breadth stayed strong, supporting the bullish tone in both frontline and broader markets.Positive foreign capital market flows following a period of persistent depreciation, as well as increased confidence regarding the status of trade discussions between the US and India, helped to boost sentiment and maintain the upswing.Although the markets are slowly rising due to encouraging signals, the Nifty will need to maintain its participation from the two main industries—banking and IT—in order to progress toward the 25,250–25,400 range. Support has moved to the 24,650–24,750 level on the downside. In order to build up fundamentally sound counters across the board, we advise employing intermediate drops or consolidation phases while keeping a positive bias.

Who is Punjab AAP MLA Harmeet Pathanmajra, who is evading the police of his own government?
Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra, a first-time MLA from a long line of political heavyweights, has always been the target of controversy. Police from his own government chased the Aam Aadmi Party MLA from Sanaur in the Patiala district on Tuesday.Earlier in the day, Pathanmajra was arrested on rape charges, but he escaped the Punjab Police with the assistance of accomplices who fired at the officers to keep them at bay. At least one police officer was hurt in the altercation after being struck by a car.In recent days, Pathanmajra has publicly criticized the Bhagwant Mann-led AAP administration for its handling of the floods that have devastated the state, despite the fact that the rape charges appear to be from an old case.Pathanmajra, who came to the AAP after briefly joining several other organizations, comes from a family whose members were among the founders of the Akali Dal. Hardev Singh, Pathanmajra's father, was a member of the zila parishad and a Congress sarpanch. It is said that his ancestors paid Rs 10,000 towards the establishment of the Akali Dal in 1920, which was a princely amount at the time.According to Pathanmajra's 2022 election paperwork, the family reportedly has 250–300 acres of agricultural land spread over several states, with assets totaling Rs 2.4 crore. In 1992, the 50-year-old joined the Akali Dal's Badal group as a youth leader, marking the beginning of his political career. He quit in 2011, but he returned to the Akali Dal after a year of experimenting with Manpreet Badal's People's Party of Punjab, an Akali Dal dissident.Following an altercation at a district development panchayat office in 2015, Pathanmajra was dismissed from the Akali Dal for lack of discipline. According to reports, he then looked for a position in Congress and, after the party refused to provide him a ticket, ran as an Independent in the 2017 Assembly elections. Only 11,840 votes were cast for him, and he even forfeited his security deposit.

Why the most popular (and dubious) fad right now is North West's finger piercing
The Kardashian-Jenner family is known for starting trends, some of which are lighthearted, some of which are outrageous, and others of which are downright dubious. When Kim Kardashian and her 12-year-old daughter North West were spotted in Rome recently, everyone's attention was drawn to North's middle finger dermal piercing.Their excursion has generated a lot of controversy, with Kim facing backlash for permitting her preteen child receive the piercing. However, finger piercings have also gained popularity, and many people are now interested in learning more about them, their process, and their safety.A dermal piercing, also known as a micro dermal or single-point piercing, is a way to change your body where a piece of jewelry is inserted under the skin so that only the pretty top is visible, says Sahil Bali, an artist at Devil'z Tattooz in Delhi. Bali continues by explaining that dermal piercings are single-entry piercings, as opposed to conventional piercings, which enter one side of the skin and exit the other. "They are performed by using a needle or dermal punch to make a tiny pocket in the skin, after which an anchor base is inserted beneath the skin. After that, a decorative stud or gem is put onto the anchor," he explains, adding that these piercings may be done practically anywhere on the body, including the fingers, lower back, cheekbone, and chest, but they take longer to heal than conventional piercings."Dermal piercings need careful cleaning and protection, as they can get easily irritated or caught on things, making them slightly higher maintenance than normal piercings," says Dr. Shireen Furtado, senior consultant, medical and cosmetic dermatology, Aster CMI Hospital, Bengaluru.

Can your hair texture change after postpartum?
Becoming a parent is among the most surreal experiences one can have. It seems as though your heart is bursting with love, but simultaneously, your body can feel more delicate and fatigued than it ever has after the ordeal of giving birth, even though you are amazed by the miracle it has just performed. With hormones fluctuating wildly and energy levels oscillating, you may discover that you are adapting to a new version of yourself on physical, mental, and emotional levels. In the midst of all these changes, your hair starts to narrate its own tale as well. Due to hormonal changes, many women notice significant hair loss in the months following childbirth. However, it often surprises people to learn that not only does the amount of hair change, but sometimes the texture does as well.Your hair may grow straighter if you have curls, or develop waves if it’s straight, and the texture of your locks can change in surprising ways, serving as a reminder that motherhood transforms more than just your routine—it transforms you. Many individuals observe that their hair becomes thicker, shinier, and fuller during pregnancy, resembling a natural glow-up. Dr. Ruben Bhasin Passi, a dermatology consultant at CK Birla Hospital in Gurugram, explains to India Today that this occurs because elevated estrogen levels prolong the hair growth phase, which stops normal shedding. This provides that additional volume and vitality. However, after the baby comes and hormone levels decrease, the narrative shifts. “When there’s a sudden decrease in hormone levels, the body adapts and hair experiences significant changes, which often surprises new mothers,” she adds. The doctor further explains that hair naturally cycles through phases of growth (anagen), rest (catagen), and shedding (telogen). During pregnancy, increased levels of estrogen keep more hair in the growth phase. After childbirth, when estrogen levels decrease, a number of these hairs enter the shedding phase simultaneously.

The Reason for the Split The ultimate 'I'm done' move is Bob.
My heart was broken by him. So I cut my hair. Even though the numbers don't stack up, it feels like a fair exchange to women. According to the well-known quote by Coco Chanel, "A woman who cuts her hair is about to change her life." A fresh appearance turns into your armor; you feel prepared to confront, if not combat, the outside world and put an end to those existentially troubling ideas. After a few uncomfortable months in Paris, away from her family, her first (and only) love, Conrad, and her brother Jeremiah, with whom she almost got married, Belly did the same. In case you missed it (and have been living in a no-Internet zone these past several weeks), that was a reference to The Summer I Turned Pretty.By the way, in the first episode of Season 3, Belly’s then-fiance told her, ‘Hey, don’t ever cut your hair, okay?’ Yet here she was, sporting a French bob - ready to leave behind the wedding mess and finally embrace the new city, and her new self. Adding to the confident new look was a bold red lipstick - another first she chose to debut. “I think women often cut their hair after a breakup or when they want to let go of old baggage and signal to people that they’re ready for change,” Jenny Han, the show’s executive producer and author of the novels that the series is based on, told Vogue."The idea is that you can feel different if you look different," she continued. A hair makeover—more specifically, a haircut—has long been used as a coping strategy. But Belly is going straight for a bob instead of the traditional breakup bangs? That's a powerful move, and it serves as a reminder to the next generation of the strength of a breakup bob.In 2018, following her split from Justin Bieber, Selena Gomez got a bob. After her breakup with Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadid also stunned the red carpet with a bob, but it turned out to be a phony one (the bob, not the breakup). Additionally, we see Claire in the web comedy Fleabag go for the perfect combination: a haircut with bangs. It shouts, "I'm ready, come what may!" when done correctly, but Claire's, well, went terribly wrong.

Axar Patel leads DC to a decisive victory over Rishabh Pant's LSG on a night that contrasts for the captains.
Returning to Lucknow for the first time since his unsatisfactory dismissal from the team, KL Rahul ended the game with a spectacular six to go undefeated in a run-chase with a 42-ball 57.On a night full of stories at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium, the Delhi Capitals won by 8 wickets in a 160-run chase, solidifying their status as this season's title contenders. KL Rahul, who is making his first appearance in Lucknow after his unsatisfactory dismissal from the team, ended the game with a spectacular six to go undefeated in a run chase with a 42-ball 57. In the twelfth over of their respective innings, LSG and DC both lost their second wicket. Axar Patel entered when a composed Abishek Porel collapsed. At this point, DC was only under a little pressure to take a few wickets, but it might have grown complicated because new batters take time to get comfortable. With two sixes over the midwicket zone, his favorite hit against spin, Axar took out Ravi Bishnoi in the very next over after Avesh Khan had dismissed him after four dot balls. In the following over, facing Avesh once more after being outscored by a few deliveries, he decided to take a chance and hit a four to try to clear the fielder at mid-off. The most impressive stroke came from Shardul Thakur, who took up a not-so-short ball with the weight still on his backfoot and sent it over long on for a six.

Nitish Rana on RR not selecting him for Super Over against DC despite 51 off 28: "One person never takes the call."
Despite hitting 51 off 28 balls against the Delhi Capitals, Nitish Rana was left out of the Super Over lineup as the Rajasthan Royals entered with Hetmyer and Riyan Parag.Nitish Rana remained in the middle until the 18th over of the chase after smashing 51 off 28 balls. At the Arun Jaitely Stadium in New Delhi on Wednesday, the Rajasthan Royals sent neither batsman to bat despite Yashasvi Jaiswal's 51 off 37 balls in the Super Over against the Delhi Capitals. Eyes were rolling when Shimron Hetmyer and Riyan Parag came out to bat in the Super Over. Rana wasn't even on the list of the three batters for the Super Over, but Jaiswal was chosen to bat following a wicket fall.RR's choice proved to be a poor one as Mitchell Starc of DC cramped the Hetmyer for space with yorkers and the reverse swing, allowing him to begin the Super Over with a dot ball. The Australian bowler was hit for four after missing his mark on the next delivery, but he recovered with another low full toss in the third ball. A single was taken by Hetmyer.Starc's low full toss was hit by Riyan Parag over third man for a boundary, sometimes known as a no-ball. After it appeared that RR would easily reach 15 with three balls left, the game took yet another sharp turn. RR was bowled out for just 11 as Parag and Jaiswal were ran out in the following ball.KL Rahul and Tristian Stubbs smash two sixes in the first three balls of Sandeep Sharma's Super Over to give DC a historic victory, so the total was insufficient. Following the game, Nitish Rana stated that the decision to send Riyan Parag and Shimron Hetmyer instead of him for the Super Over was made by the RR management. Rana said he didn't have an alternative response, adding that if Hetmyer had hit a couple of sixes in the Super Over, the questions would have been different."The call is answered by management, not a single individual. Along with two other senior players and coaches, the captain is present. You wouldn't be asking this question if Shimron Hetmyer had hit two sixes. I'll respond with the same response. I have no other response. Every choice we made was the right one. Everyone knows that Hetmyer is our finisher. During the press conference, Rana stated, "He has previously delivered."

India's bold strategy aids in a quick T20 reconstruction
The world champions are creating an environment where players perform well without worrying about keeping their spots in the squad or taking wickets.Kolkata: Although it's early, the process and outcomes give hope that India would successfully defend the T20 World Cup at home the following year. Despite the pessimism caused by the Test and ODI transition issues, India's T20 trajectory stands out thanks to series victories against South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and now England. Even more so when one considers that Kuldeep Yadav, Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, and Yashasvi Jaiswal have not been parachuted in.This is most likely a greater accomplishment. However, they have approached it virtually undetected. No culture of stars. Verify. No set order for batting. Verify. Just a group of young, talented, and incredibly self-assured cricket players going about their business without worrying about career curves. By the way, all IPL linchpins.Captain Suryakumar Yadav acknowledges his lack of quality as he is left off the Champions Trophy roster. Abhishek Sharma thinks a ball is there to be struck, hence he doesn't count returns. As long as Tilak Varma is at the crease, the second Twenty20 match in Chennai demonstrated that no equation is too difficult. And the fact that India lost to 12/3 and then 79/5 at Pune on Friday, yet still managed to score 181, demonstrated that the previous game's disaster chasing in Rajkot was really a fluke. The realization that not everything can be managed lies at the core of this long-term upsurge. Earlier this week, Sitanshu Kotak, India's new batting coach, said it. "To achieve a score of 200 or 225, and if you are

For the Bihar Assembly elections next month, the BJP on Tuesday unveiled its initial list of 71 candidates, keeping a number of its current ministers and MLAs but adding fresh names in a few constituencies.About half of the 71 names are repeat candidates who ran in the 2020 elections, such as Vinod Narayan Jha (Benipatti), Pawan Jaiswal (Dhaka), Rana Randhir Singh (Madhuban), Awadhesh Singh (Hajipur), and Sanjay Saraogi (Darbhanga).Outgoing deputy chief ministers Samrat Choudhary and Vijay Kumar Sinha will run in the next Bihar assembly election from the Tarapur and Lakhisarai assembly constituencies, respectively, according to the Bharatiya Janata Party's first list of candidates released on Tuesday. Election results for the 243-seat Bihar legislature will be revealed on November 14 after two phases of voting on November 6 and 11.The Bharatiya Janata Party and the Janata Dal-United (JDU) are running for 101 seats apiece, while the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas), led by Chirag Paswan, is running for 29 seats. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) finalized their seat-sharing formula for the Bihar assembly elections on Sunday. Jitan Ram Manjhi's Hindustani Awam Morcha (Secular), also known as HAM(S), and Upendra Kushwaha's Rashtriya Lok Morcha (RLM) will compete for six seats each.As the party ran for 115 seats in the 2020 Bihar assembly election, Nitish Kumar's JD(U) saw a decline in the final seat-sharing results. In the push for OBC quota, BJP MP government aligns its argument with Congress's 'jitni abaadi, utna haq' pitch
The BJP government in Madhya Pradesh, led by Mohan Yadav, is advocating in the Supreme Court for an increase in the reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs) from 14% to 27%. This initiative would violate the top court's quota ceiling of 50%. It appears to resonate with Leader of the Opposition Rahul Gandhi's call for “jitni abaadi, utna haq (representation proportional to population).”In an affidavit submitted on September 23 before the Supreme Court proceedings that commenced Wednesday, the Madhya Pradesh government referenced 2011 Census data, stating that disadvantaged groups including Scheduled Castes (SCs) at 15.6% of the population, Scheduled Tribes (STs) at 21.1%, and OBCs at over 51% together constitute over 87% of the state's population. On Sunday, veteran Congress politician Kamal Nath charged that the BJP government in Madhya Pradesh was perpetrating a “drama” under the pretext of providing a 27 percent reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBCs). He claimed that the ruling party aimed to deny this community its rights. The OBC quota was raised from 14% to 27% by an ordinance under Nath's Congress government in 2019, but litigation prevented its implementation.Nath asserted in an X post that the Mohan Yadav government was using court procedures and legal advice as a repeated excuse to protect itself.

PM Modi recalls V K Malhotra: ‘An indefatigable Karyakarta, a superb organiser, and a builder of institutions’
Shri Vijay Kumar Malhotra Ji, one of our most senior leaders, passed away a few days ago. He lived a long life full of achievements, but what mattered more was that he led a life characterized by unwavering diligence, resolve, and service. His life offers a glimpse into the core ethos of the RSS, Jana Sangh, and BJP: courage in adversity, selfless service, and a profound dedication to cultural and national values. The family of VK Malhotra Ji endured the atrocities of partition. He did not become bitter or withdrawn as a result of the trauma and displacement. Rather, he dedicated himself to helping others. He discovered his vocation in the beliefs of the RSS and Jana Sangh. It was a time of great difficulty, indeed. Malhotra Ji devoted himself to social work, assisting thousands of displaced families who had lost everything in rebuilding their lives. The Jana Sangh was also guided by this spirit. In those days, his fellow Karyakartas included Madanlal Khurana Ji and Kidar Nath Sahni Ji. Individuals such as them, along with innumerable others, led the way in altruistic service—an endeavor that struck a chord with the people of Delhi. The Lok Sabha and various state assembly elections of 1967 were a shocker for the all-powerful Congress, as is well known. Another election that occurred, but is not as well-known, was the inaugural Delhi Metropolitan Council election. The Jana Sangh achieved a tremendous triumph in the national capital. Shri LK Advani Ji took on the role of Chairman of the Council, while Malhotra Ji was tasked with the role of Chief Executive Councillor, which is approximately equivalent to that of a Chief Minister. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war er erst 36 Jahre alt. During his time in office, he focused on the needs of Delhi, particularly with regard to civic and infrastructure matters.Malhotra Ji’s connection with Delhi was strengthened by this responsibility. Malhotra Ji was not a bystander but an active participant representing the voice of the public whenever there was an issue of public importance. In the late 1960s, he participated in the cow protection movement, during which he fell victim to police excesses. He played a leading role in the movement opposing the Emergency. As the streets of Delhi became scenes of brutal violence against Sikhs, he emerged as a voice of tranquility and solidarity for the Sikh community. He was of the opinion that political activity (beyond winning elections) revolved around principles and safeguarding individuals and values at crucial times.

Keep music out of your ears rather than in them with SHOKZ OpenRun Pro 2.
Given how many calls we have to answer, we all spend a lot of time between earphones. We also try to relax by taking walks and running while listening to music or podcasts. Since noise-cancelling devices literally create a vacuum in the canal, our ears are not really designed to handle in-ear audio. This explains why some people, at the very least, favor open-ear headphones and earbuds that allow for natural music listening without isolating you from the outside world. The alternative strategy is used by SHOKZ, a company that produces open-ear headphones that provide sound without causing any damage to the ear canals by using bone conduction technology. The SHOKZ OpenRun Pro 2 maintains your ear canals entirely open while producing high-quality audio through the use of bone conduction and air conduction technology. You can simultaneously hear music and your surroundings thanks to this "open-ear" design, which is especially helpful for safety when running and cycling.

The present Managing Director, Kedar Lele, will leave at the end of December 2025 in order to pursue other possibilities. His decision to "pursue other opportunities" is cited as the reason. According to MoE data, over 1 lakh single-teacher schools in India educate over 33 lakh children.
According to data from the Ministry of Education, there are over 33 lakh kids enrolled in over one lakh single-teacher schools nationwide, with Andhra Pradesh having the most of these institutions and Uttar Pradesh having the most students enrolled in them. 33,76,769 kids were enrolled in 1,04,125 single-teacher schools in India during the 2024–2025 school year, with an average of roughly 34 pupils per school.Despite efforts to rectify the situation, over 33 lakh Indian pupils are still enrolled in schools with just one teacher, and the roughly one lakh schools where they attend have not hired a teacher to replace their current one. For the academic year 2024–2025, the Union Ministry of Education released data from the Unified District Information System for Education Plus (UDISE+) last week, showing that 1,04,125 schools in India are operated by a single teacher, serving 33,76,769 children. Andhra Pradesh has the most single-teacher schools, followed by Karnataka, Jharkhand, Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, and Lakshadweep. Nonetheless, Uttar Pradesh leads the pack in terms of student enrollment in single-teacher schools, followed by Jharkhand, West Bengal, and Madhya Pradesh.Single-teacher schools are still a major problem in India, despite a decline in their numbers from 1,18,190 in 2022–2023 to 1,10,971 in 2023–2024. According to the ministry, "the number of single teacher schools has decreased by approximately 6% in the reporting year compared to the prior year due to the deliberate and significant governmental interventions." According to officials, in order to guarantee "optimal teacher availability," attempts are being made to redistribute teachers from schools with no students enrolled to single-teacher schools.

Which of the three magnificent cats would most likely prevail in a fight involving tigers, leopards, and lions?
Big cats, from the sprawling African savannahs to the center of deep Asian jungles, captivate our collective imagination, especially when they are included in fictitious fights. In a conflict between a tiger, a leopard, or a lion, who would win? Let's examine the information. When it comes to sheer muscle and mass, tigers have the advantage. The largest of the great cats, male tigers can weigh up to 600 pounds or more. Although they usually weigh a little less, lions' stocky bodies nevertheless contain a lot of strength. Further investigation reveals that adult male tigers weigh 400–670 pounds, while male lions weigh 331–550 pounds. These parameters are validated by first-hand reports from animal observers: Even the greatest African lions are frequently greatly outnumbered by Bengal and Siberian tigers.Instead of speculating about who would prevail in a battle, we would much rather people focus their mental energies on preserving these amazing kitties. But because it's a frequently asked question, let's get started. The quick answer is that it depends on a variety of characteristics, including temperament, age, and size. Nonetheless, tigers typically have the upper hand. Tigers have an advantage in warfare since they are not only typically larger but also better at fighting when standing on their hind legs. Although there is much disagreement over the efficacy of this, some think that a lion's mane may offer some neck protection. When tigers and lions faced up in the Roman Coliseum, according to ancient legend, the tigers typically prevailed. Fortunately, though, those savage days are long gone. The likelihood of a tiger and lion encountering in the wild is nearly nonexistent nowadays. Lions are primarily located in Africa, with a small population surviving in a small area of India, whereas tigers traverse Asia. A tight affinity between these two species was shown at Big Cat Rescue between Cameron, a male lion, and Zabu, a white tiger. They were saved from a breeding environment that aimed to create ligers, a hybrid that we most definitely do not support. Although their humorous exchanges may have seemed like a quarrel, rest assured that it was all in good humor. And just so you know, we like to assume Zabu would have had the advantage.

SBI looks to focus on deal financing within its own territory, as a draft regulation from the RBI proposes an even playing field for Indian banks
The State Bank of India (SBI), which has long funded the overseas acquisitions of Indian companies, believes it is prepared to support domestic mergers and acquisitions (M&As) as the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) looks into the possibility of allowing domestic lenders to do so.“Our outbound M&A financing involves Indian corporations acquiring foreign entities. Banks such as SBI possess extensive knowledge of acquisition financing,” C.S. Setty, chairman of the largest lender in the country, informed reporters during the Global Fintech Fest in Mumbai on Wednesday.Amitabh Chaudhry, the managing director and CEO of Axis Bank, stated on Tuesday that his bank aims not only to take part but also to challenge foreign banks that have been funding these acquisitions for several years, offering them “a run for their money.”On 1 October, in the course of detailing its review of monetary policy, the RBI unveiled a draft framework aimed at allowing domestic banks to underwrite acquisition financing for Indian corporates—something that has been desired by the banking sector for a long time. Regulatory constraints had effectively prohibited Indian banks from providing loans for share purchases in acquisition deals up to this point. Foreign banks, non-bank financial institutions, bond markets, and private equity largely took on those tasks. As the RBI aims to revise the regulations, domestic banks might soon benefit from a level playing field that is conditioned on safeguards, credit limits, and oversight standards. Market participants think this action could reveal value in the corporate funding life cycle. “Im Zuge des Geschäftsjahres 2024 beliefen sich die Werte von M&A-Transaktionen auf mehr als 120 Milliarden US-Dollar (ungefähr ₹10 lakh crore bzw. trillion). As per a note from SBI Research Ecowrap following the RBI's announcement regarding draft rules, if we consider that the debt component accounts for 40% of M&A and that banks could finance 30% of this, it results in a possible credit growth of ₹1.2 lakh crore.

I gave the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold a try… I am now convinced that I don’t need multiple devices
After a month of work-related travel to four major US cities, I returned to India and realized that managing three phones, a laptop, a tablet, a handheld console, and over-ear headphones was no longer feasible for me. It could be overwhelming at times – flying from one city to another, undergoing numerous security checks, and constantly fearing that a device might be left behind. This journey prompted me to reconsider the limits of excess, particularly given that I was going to consecutive tech events in various locations. It seems that I have at last come to understand that juggling several devices is simply not for me. For tech journalists, it is now far more sensible to have a single device, such as the Google Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Though foldables are not yet mainstream (their high cost keeps them out of reach for most consumers), in my experience, the phone-tablet duo does provide a difference compared to carrying a separate phone and tablet; In addition, the user experience appears to have enhanced. While the Pixel 10 Pro Fold may appear similar to last year’s Pixel 9 Pro Fold that I reviewed, it boasts significant enhancements including a larger battery, a quicker Tensor G5 chip, upgraded cameras, improved displays, water resistance for folding phones, and enhanced integration with Google’s Gemini AI tools. It didn’t take me long to adapt to the folding Pixel 10 Pro Fold, which felt more polished and personal, but switching from my iPhone to the Google phone was still a challenge.
