Admit card, instructions, and other information for the CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 on July 28

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will conduct the Class 12 Supplementary Examination 2026 on July 28. This exam gives another opportunity to students who could not clear one or more subjects in the regular board examination. Students who are appearing for the supplementary exam are advised to be fully prepared and follow all instructions issued by CBSE.The CBSE Class 12 Supplementary Exam 2026 admit cards have already been released. Regular students can collect their admit cards through their respective schools, while private candidates can download their hall tickets online using their login details. Students must carry a properly signed and stamped admit card to the examination centre, as entry will not be allowed without it.The supplementary examination will be held on July 28 across different exam centres in India.

The papers will include major subjects such as English, Hindi, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Accountancy, Business Studies, Economics, Computer Science and other subjects. The examination is scheduled to be conducted mainly from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM.CBSE has advised students to reach the examination centre on time and carry all required documents. Along with the admit card, students should bring their school identity card (if applicable), necessary stationery items and follow the seating and examination rules carefully. Students should also check their admit card details, including name, roll number, subject and exam centre information, before the exam day.The board has also issued strict guidelines for students. Mobile phones, smartwatches and other electronic communication devices are not allowed inside the examination hall. Carrying any prohibited item may lead to action under CBSE’s unfair means rules. Students should maintain discipline, avoid any unfair practices and focus on completing their paper calmly.For many students, the supplementary exam is an important second chance to improve their results and continue their higher education plans without losing an academic year. Students are encouraged to stay confident, revise important topics and appear for the exam with a positive mindset.
