Oo La La' by Kingfisher is reimagined: an IPL campaign that combines music and cricket

United Breweries Ltd., a division of the HEINEKEN Company, has reworked its famous "Oo La La" jingle to create a lively clarion cry for good times with Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water. In keeping with its reputation as the "King of Good Times," the company releases two new brand films starring players from the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). They convey the joy, fun, and refreshment that Kingfisher has long been known for, set to two brand-new, funky tracks: Vibe, produced by Tamil rapper Paal Dabba and producer Sickflip, and Besabar, performed by popular regional musicians Bharg and Lothika. SRH actors Travis Head, Ishan Kishan, and Heinrich Klaasen co-star with LSG actors Rishabh Pant, Nicholas Pooran, and David Miller in the two brand movies. As players groove to Besabar in the LSG movie, artists Bharg and Lothika transform a routine moment into unplanned joy, honoring the combination of cricket, music, and culture. In contrast, a poolside wait in the SRH movie is transformed into a wild party thanks to the vivacity and sexiness of musicians Paal Dabba and Sickflip."This campaign embodies everything Kingfisher stands for—fun, energy, and unforgettable moments," stated Vikram Bahl, Chief Marketing Officer of United Breweries Limited, in reference to the release. The brand films make this spirit come to life through Kingfisher Premium Packaged Drinking Water's partnership with Sunrisers Hyderabad and the Lucknow Super Giants. We are reaching a younger generation that thrives on the blending of music, sports, and culture by collaborating with local musicians to give our legendary "Oo La La" jingle a new, contemporary spin. India's spirit is rooted in cricket and music, and this campaign embodies Good Times to the fullest.

Doctors express an urgent warning that reels are now causing eye issues after "brain rot."

All age groups, but mainly children and young adults, are experiencing an increase in eye diseases as a result of excessive screen use, especially binge-watching reels on social media sites.Following worries about the effect of short-form films on mental health, medical professionals are now sounding the alarm about a brand-new, rapidly developing issue: "reel-induced eye damage."Across all age groups, excessive screen time—especially binge-watching reels on social media sites like Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok—is contributing to an increase in eye diseases, particularly in children and young adults. Leading ophthalmologists discussed this at the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology and All India Ophthalmological Society's ongoing Joint Meeting, which took place Tuesday at the Yashobhoomi-India International Convention and Expo Centre.Dr. Lalit Verma, president of the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) 2025 Congress, spoke sternly about the "silent epidemic of digital eye strain" brought on by prolonged screen time. "We are seeing a sharp increase in cases of dry eye syndrome, myopia progression, eye strain, and even early-onset squinting, especially in children who spend hours watching reels," he stated. Still moisturizing with baby cream? Stop now.

Still moisturizing with baby cream? Stop now.

To keep their skin as smooth, soft, and perfect as a newborn's, many individuals still use baby products. However, did you ever ask your dermatologist if this was helping your skin?Is it overstating things to argue that we live in a paradox? A new skincare product is introduced and put on the shelves of your local Sephora every day, and customers are going crazy with the sheer volume of options. Dermatologists detest this habit, which is so widespread that most people wind up storing products they don't even need.On the other hand, there is a group of people who enjoy living in nostalgia. For them, time seems to have stopped, but only in terms of their skincare regimen; they haven't strayed from baby products for smooth, silky, and immaculate skin. You must also stop! What is beneficial for a baby's sensitive skin might not be beneficial for your mature skin. It could be time for an upgrade if you've been using baby creams as your go-to moisturizer. Baby creams are made for infant skin, which is thinner, more hydrated, and produces less oil, according to Dr. Ruby Sachdev, a consultant aesthetician at Gleneagles Hospital Bengaluru. Their requirements differ from those of adult skin. However, adult skin has sebum and sebaceous glands, is thicker, generates oil, and is subjected to harsher conditions including UV radiation, pollution, and stress. Therefore, a baby moisturizer might not be enough to adequately hydrate and protect adult skin.Celebrity dermatologist Dr. Niketa Sonavane, who founded Mumbai's Ambrosia Aesthetics, concurs. She notes that mature skin needs elements that truly hydrate, protect, and restore because it loses moisture more quickly. Baby creams, on the other hand, are too simple for this. Even while they might feel smooth and calming when applied, they lack the active components that mature skin needs, such as hyaluronic acid, ceramides, and peptides (which preserve the skin barrier).

Is it true that the popular

Is it true that the popular "Moroccan Nila powder" may make your skin more radiant?

Influencers are slathering themselves in vivid blue hues to attain lighter skin, and Nila Powder is sweeping the internet. Some goods in the beauty industry occasionally get viral. Influencers returning to natural solutions for skincare issues is one significant trend we've observed. It appears that the newest member of this wave, Nila Powder, is from Morocco. Influencers are dressing in eye-catching blue hues as Nila Powder takes the internet by storm. This product's claims are straightforward: it brightens the skin, reduces hyperpigmentation, and has anti-inflammatory properties. Sounds like a three-in-one-potential, doesn't it? It's not surprising that this product is making its way into the hands of almost every beauty enthusiast, as many Indians suffer from hyperpigmentation and our fixation with skin-brightening hasn't quite subsided.

India's bold strategy aids in a quick T20 reconstruction

India's bold strategy aids in a quick T20 reconstruction

The world champions are creating an environment where players perform well without worrying about keeping their spots in the squad or taking wickets.Kolkata: Although it's early, the process and outcomes give hope that India would successfully defend the T20 World Cup at home the following year. Despite the pessimism caused by the Test and ODI transition issues, India's T20 trajectory stands out thanks to series victories against South Africa, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, and now England. Even more so when one considers that Kuldeep Yadav, Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Rishabh Pant, and Yashasvi Jaiswal have not been parachuted in.This is most likely a greater accomplishment. However, they have approached it virtually undetected. No culture of stars. Verify. No set order for batting. Verify. Just a group of young, talented, and incredibly self-assured cricket players going about their business without worrying about career curves. By the way, all IPL linchpins.Captain Suryakumar Yadav acknowledges his lack of quality as he is left off the Champions Trophy roster. Abhishek Sharma thinks a ball is there to be struck, hence he doesn't count returns. As long as Tilak Varma is at the crease, the second Twenty20 match in Chennai demonstrated that no equation is too difficult. And the fact that India lost to 12/3 and then 79/5 at Pune on Friday, yet still managed to score 181, demonstrated that the previous game's disaster chasing in Rajkot was really a fluke. The realization that not everything can be managed lies at the core of this long-term upsurge. Earlier this week, Sitanshu Kotak, India's new batting coach, said it. "To achieve a score of 200 or 225, and if you are

Rishabh Pant appointed as captain of Lucknow Super Giants for IPL 2025: 'His nicknames would be linked to Rohit Sharma, MS Dhoni'

Rishabh Pant has become oficial captain of Lucknow Super Giants for the IPL 2025.Rishabh Pant, el jugador más caro en la historia de la auction de la Premier League de India, has sido designado como captain de Lucknow Super Giants para el IPL 2025. The proclama fue emitida on Monday. "After 10-12 años, he would be linked to MS Dhoni and Rohit Sharma," declaró Goenka.

Exclusive: As the BJP seeks caste balance in the AIADMK alliance, Annamalai may resign as TN chairman.

"Delhi sees a bright future for him," the youthful Annamalai, whose assertive position on issues has given the BJP publicity in Tamil Nadu, if not political success thus far, was informed. As coalition negotiations between the parties pick up steam, K Annamalai, who is regarded as a major factor in the 2023 split between the AIADMK and BJP, may resign as head of the BJP Tamil Nadu. However, according to BJP sources, caste equations will be the reason rather than "punishment." The BJP does not want a Gounder to represent both the party and the AIADMK in the 2026 state elections if the parties run together. Edappadi K. Palaniswami, the leader of the AIADMK, shares Annamalai's heritage as a member of the powerful backward community and the Gounder-dominated western Kongu region.According to BJP insiders, the first official moves for a reconciliation between the BJP and AIADMK were taken when Annamalai met with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi shortly after Shah's meeting with Palaniswami. "Delhi sees a bright future for him," the youthful Annamalai, whose combative approach to issues has given the BJP visibility in Tamil Nadu, if not political success thus far, was told. The leadership responded by saying that Annamalai was expected to trust the party and adhere to its strategy. It is thought that Annamalai declared her total allegiance to the party. According to a top BJP leader, "he expressed that he has no regrets about his dedication to the party and is even willing to work as a mere cadre." "Annamalai remains a key figure in the party's long-term strategy for Tamil Nadu, whether or not he leaves his position as state president," stated another politician. It is unclear if he will assume a national function or a different state job.

Exclusive: Delhi's EPS and AIADMK might rejoin the BJP

A high-power steering group that would surpass BJP TN leader Annamalai and no negotiations with AIADMK rebels are among the demands made by the AIADMK, which was at a loss for options.According to sources, the two leaders' meeting may result in Palaniswami rejoining the NDA, an alliance the general secretary of the AIADMK has been opposing. Weeks of talks between AIADMK and BJP leaders preceded Palaniswami's visit. The Tamil Nadu party was hesitant to re-affiliate with the BJP, a North-centric party that the AIADMK's primary adversary, the DMK, has been portraying as a sign of a dominant Center. Today, March 25, Edappadi K. Palaniswami (EPS), the general secretary of the AIADMK, is in the nation's capital, igniting rumors that the party may rejoin the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), which is led by the Bharatiya Janata Party. According to sources, EPS may meet with Union Home Minister Amit Shah in the nation's capital.According to the official statement of Tamil Nadu's opposition party, the All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (AIADMK), EPS is in Delhi to visit the news party headquarters. EPS used a video conference from Chennai to officially open the party building, which cost ₹10 crore to construct. The meeting between EPS and Amit Shah, however, may open the door for the party to rejoin the NDA, according to a report in the Indian Express that cited sources. Since September 2023, when the two parties split apart for a variety of reasons, chief among them being the departure of K Annamalai, the president of the BJP in Tamil Nadu, EPS has been opposing the partnership.

Santosh, an internationally recognized movie, was banned in India due to its depiction of police brutality.

Cannes has already seen the premiere of an award-winning movie set in a fictional town, but censors have rejected its domestic distribution.Because of their reservations over the film's depiction of violence in the Indian police force, misogyny, and Islamophobia, Indian film censors have prevented the release of the highly regarded film Santosh.Set in northern India, Santosh, written and directed by British-Indian Sandhya Suri, has received praise from all over the world for its depiction of a young widow who enlists in the police force and looks into the murder of a little Dalit girl.
