Dr. Madhu Chopra adds,

Dr. Madhu Chopra adds, "I feel it's drooping a little bit," but she doesn't go crazy after giving herself a Botox injection on the right side of her face.

Dr. Madhu Chopra, Priyanka Chopra's mother and dermatologist, recently posted a photo of herself getting Botox on the right side of her face. "I feel like my face is drooping a little, so I'm going to get Botox. You can notice that I have a lowered mouth angle. Compared to my left, my right side is comparatively weaker. In an Instagram post, she stated, "I usually botox my right."Dr. Madhu remarked, "My eyebrows and eyelids have come down, and I do have lines," as she demonstrated a straightforward injection technique. Watch me, then. I just marked myself. I'll take care of it myself. Since I am aware of where I must provide, I will first remove the marks. "It's painless, harmless, and I am very careful about under-correcting the first time," she continued after the treatment. I don't go too far. I don't shoot a lot. Only from unit to unit. In four to five days, I shall see the outcomes. I will redo it if there are any corrections that need to be addressed. Going slow and low is preferable to swinging your eyes, moving your mouth, or making your face look synthetic.Let's get a better understanding of the process from a professional. Botox is a refined protein used in aesthetic dermatology to temporarily relax some facial muscles, according to Dr. Shweta Nakhawa, consultant dermatologist at KIMS Hospitals in Thane. It creates a smoother appearance by softening dynamic wrinkles like crow's feet, frown lines, and forehead lines by decreasing muscle activity. According to Dr. Nakhawa, the impact usually lasts a few months.

According to recent studies, daily vitamin and mineral dosages help lessen severe irritation in teenagers.

One of the most prevalent and upsetting issues that teens and their families deal with is irritability. Its primary symptom is an overreaction to unpleasant emotional stimuli, which leads to intense irritability and outbursts of rage. Even though some people find success with current treatment choices like psychotherapy and medication, they might be difficult to access or poorly tolerated.Based on a double-blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial, our new study demonstrates that broad-spectrum micronutrients (minerals and vitamins) might considerably lessen extreme irritability in teenagers. Particularly significant changes were seen in those with extremely disruptive behavior. This provides a physiologically based, safe, and scalable substitute for traditional psychiatric therapies.Numerous psychiatric conditions, such as anxiety, depression, attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and other disruptive behavior disorders, are associated with irritability.Interventions that specifically address irritation, have fewer adverse effects, and are accessible to all populations are desperately needed. Young people's mental health statistics are particularly alarming. According to a Lancet panel, youth mental health has been deteriorating worldwide over the past 20 years and has now entered a "dangerous phase." Despite this, studies regularly show that there are few accessible and effective treatments for young people who are extremely irritable. This points to a serious unmet public health need.

Lekin, I never believed in oiling before.Behind her shiny hair, Chitrangada Singh reveals a secret combination.

On the podcast Let's Talk for Namitaa, Chitrangada Singh recently talked about her hair care regimen and credited oiling for improving the quality of her hair. "I never used to believe in oiling, lekin bahut farak padta, oiling is very, very important," she said. The quality of your hair has improved since I started using rosemary, pepper mint, almond oil, and teen cheezon ko mix karke mujhe diya hai kisni.IndianExpress.com contacted Dr. Bhawuk Dhir, Consultant Dermatology, PSRI Hospital, to verify the actor's claim. He concurred that oiling has advantages, "but with realistic expectations."According to Dr. Dhir, "regular hair oiling can be scientifically effective, but its impact varies from person to person." He explains that oils don't directly promote the growth of new hair by activating biological growth pathways. The main functions of oils are as protecting and emollients. They protect the hair shaft from friction and environmental harm, prevent breakage, lessen dryness, and seal in moisture," he says. During oil application, a light scalp massage may also promote improved blood circulation. Dr. Dhir continues, "The evidence is stronger for improved texture and reduced damage rather than dramatic hair growth, even though this creates a healthier scalp environment."

The age-old query, "How do you know he's the one?" is addressed by Richa Chadha.

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are a great illustration of what a modern marriage ought to look like. The pair has repeatedly demonstrated that a strong friendship is the foundation of a successful relationship by being polite and encouraging of one another during both good and bad times. However, choosing the correct companion is a prerequisite for reaching that point, and in this complex age of online dating, most of us find it difficult.Chadha recently discussed her ideal spouse and how to locate the right man in an interview with content producer Kritika Khurana on her podcast, What's Up Sister? "I think actually when someone is the one, you know," Chadha said in response to Khurana's question, "How do you know he is the one?" There will be a voice in your head or spirit telling you, "Okay, this is the person I want to be with and spend my life with.""What happens when you are in a bad relationship?" the Heeramandi actor asked Khurana. "It's really toxic," she retorted. Your physical and mental well-being are plainly affected, and you are unable to concentrate on your task. Chadha disclosed that when you are in a healthy relationship, a lot of the reverse occurs. "Your life really does improve when you have a terrific spouse. Because your life may turn into hell when you have a horrible partner," she said.A good relationship is promoted by developing and strengthening friendship with one's spouse, according to psychologist Juhi Pandey of Mpower Helpline. Spending quality time together, encouraging one another on a personal, social, and professional level, sharing interests, and recognizing and expressing one another's work are all ways to achieve this. In a relationship, forgiveness is crucial. Keeping grudges damages the connection in addition to adding to one's emotional load. In order to resolve the argument and continue their connection, couples should also forgive one another in the same way that a good friend forgets and forgives their past disagreements, she continued.

LONDON, Dec 24 (Reuters) - Meat traders flung cheap turkeys to the highest bidders in a public auction at London's historic Smithfield Market on Tuesday, a long-standing Christmas tradition whose future now hangs in the balance. In a public auction held Tuesday at London's historic Smithfield Market, meat sellers threw inexpensive turkeys to the highest bidders, a long-standing Christmas custom whose survival is now in jeopardy. The location in the financial area of the City of London has been a center for the trade of meat and animals for around 900 years. At one point, it drew vendors from all across England and produce from as far away as Argentina and Australia. However, Smithfield Market's future is unknown because city officials decided last month to close it, freeing up precious property area for future redevelopment. The majority of meat vendors have stated that they intend to relocate to another area of London after the Smithfield market closes in 2028. For many years, throngs of gamblers have braved the cold and flocked to Smithfield Market on Christmas Eve in order to purchase excess produce at discounted prices. They exchanged cash, and only cash, for lamb legs or red meat slices that were thrown into the crowd.

Cult of 5am: advantages and disadvantages of rising early

The "5am club" is becoming increasingly popular, despite the fact that some people view it as a smug wellness fad and others swear by it as a morning miracle.More and more individuals are getting up early, whether it's to exercise, meditate, journal, pick up a new skill, or simply get moving. However, will you actually "win the day" with this technique, or will it only wear you out later?Leadership expert Robin Sharma claimed in his book "The 5am Club" that the technique enables one to attain "productivity, prosperity, performance and impact" comparable to that of "superstars, virtuosos, and geniuses."In fact, journalists who have tested the wellness trend have reported higher productivity. According to Anya Meyerowitz in Glamour, "my day-to-day motivation around work has gone up," and she was "bursting" with ideas. Shannon Talbot stated, "I was definitely more productive," on Today's Parent.Cons: impracticability An early start necessitates an early bedtime, which is a disadvantage. Russell Foster, chairman of Oxford University's Sleep and Circadian Neuroscience Institute, told The Guardian that many individuals would have to go to bed by 9 p.m. in order to receive enough sleep. "Unfortunately, most of us aren’t able to do that," due to "all this stuff we need to do, whether that be helping kids with homework or putting a load of washing on" . Another issue with a 9 p.m. bedtime is that other people, whether they be neighbors, family members, or random onlookers, are still probably going to be out and about, making it difficult to obtain a good night's sleep at such an early hour.

Although DIY collagen supplements are popular for beautiful skin, experts warn

Amla, beetroot, carrot, and apple are common household ingredients that have gained attention in the pursuit of youthful, glowing skin. Skinfluencers are promoting a drink made from these ingredients as a collagen supplement. When the year comes to an end, "collagen" is the term that has sparked the whole cosmetics business. Beauty firms have made significant investments in the trend as a result of the fascination this phrase has caused. You ask, how? By introducing a variety of collagen-based products, including as protein powders, supplements, and moisturizers, you have drawn the interest of beauty influencers worldwide. However, collagen remained for all the right reasons and appears to be here to stay, in contrast to other trends that come and go.However, what is collagen? According to Mumbai-based nutritionist and wellness specialist Debjani Gupta, who spoke to India Today, collagen is an essential protein that accounts for around 30% of the body's overall protein content. It is essential for maintaining the firmness, plumpness, and suppleness of the skin. Higher collagen levels in our twenties and thirties give the skin a firm, toned, and glowing appearance, especially when combined with appropriate eating and lifestyle choices. But as we get older—into our forties and fifties—our bodies produce less collagen, which results in aging symptoms including drooping skin and a lighter skin tone.Collagen's roles in the body The body uses collagen for a number of essential purposes, including: Replacing dead cells: It encourages new cell development. Organ protection: Collagen acts as a barrier to keep important organs safe. Preserving skin elasticity: It gives the skin strength, suppleness, elasticity, and structure. Supporting blood coagulation: In the event of an injury, collagen is essential for blood coagulation.Collagen has gained popularity due to all of these benefits, particularly its ability to increase skin suppleness. However, the cost of collagen supplements and powders is high (an average of Rs 2,500 for 500 gm), which has led Indians in particular to turn to "juggad" and choose natural recipes that are said to increase the body's production of collagen.

Sleep divorce: The reasons why some couples choose to end their relationship right before bed

Imagine falling asleep for the first time and then being startled awake by a bedquake brought on by your partner's restless leg. Or perhaps you've just pulled the covers tight about you only to have them ripped off again. Some couples have tried sleeping apart as a result of frequent nightly annoyances including loud snores and excessive body heat. This practice, also referred to as "sleep divorce," enables couples to wake up feeling rejuvenated and still together, even if they are in different rooms or beds. When two individuals in a close relationship choose to sleep apart and not share a bed, this is known as a "sleep divorce. " The Toronto Psychology Clinic's director and clinical psychologist, Dr. Saunia Ahmad, clarified that although they might be in the same room, they aren't actually in the same bed."Divorce doesn't have to be a bad choice, even if the term clearly has a bad connotation.According to Ahmad, she prefers to use the phrase "co-regulating" your sleep because it can be a constructive method to deal with the reality that two individuals have different sleeping habits. According to Ahmad, it's perfectly OK and even beneficial for your relationship if you and your partner have been sleeping in different beds (or have discussed it) in order to have a better night's sleep.

The fashion designer shared the noteworthy update on her Instagram Stories, where she can be seen exercising on the traveling rings, which are used for a range of workouts and activities."I prepared myself like a happy child...with my bottle and bag as if it were the first day of my first postpartum workout. Gupta stated, "Back with chief Apoorv Mathur – new body, new goals, same focus.""And you have a new superpower. #Motherhood is a superpower," her coach wrote while reposting it.According to experts, these rings provide a full-body workout by working several muscle groups, which might contribute to the enjoyable development of strength and endurance. Core strengthening helps with posture and lower back pain, which is a typical issue for new mothers, according to Dr. Bawa.Furthermore, pelvic floor health is improved by these functional strength training activities, which is crucial for preventing urine incontinence and promoting recovery following vaginal or cesarean delivery.Additionally, strength training after giving birth helps to improve blood circulation and increase endorphin synthesis, which helps to combat weariness and increase overall energy levels, according to Dr. Bawa. Dr. Bawa, however, advised moms to start under expert supervision and tailor their exercise regimen to their stage of recuperation. For new moms who want to regain their physical health, gentle, incremental training can be life-changing.

The history of chiffon from Maharani Gayatri Devi's wardrobe in Jaipur to yours

Chiffon's legacy is ingrained in history, from the royal courts of Europe to contemporary designers' studios.Few textiles can match chiffon's legendary elegance. Light, airy, and classic, it has been worn by both queens and commoners, solidifying its status as a representation of elegance. Maharani Gayatri Devi of Jaipur, whose carefree fashion transformed chiffon saris into royal couture, was one of its most famous champions. Gayatri Devi's mother, Maharani Indira Devi of Cooch Behar, inspired her to commission beautiful French chiffon saris, which have come to represent subtle grandeur.According to Rohini Singh of Just Chiffons, a Jaipur-based brand that draws inspiration from the individual fashion tastes of India's aristocracy, "Chiffon saris are the pinnacle of effortless elegance." "Our label was born because my mother started making chiffon saris to preserve the charm of pure silk chiffon, which was otherwise hard to find," she explained. The history of chiffon spans time and culture, from ancient China to the royal palaces of India and French haute couture. Chiffon still captivates people today by fusing centuries of artistry, cultural development, and timeless beauty. The opulent silk fabric known as chiffon was first used by the aristocracy in ancient China. Its voyage to Europe in the eighteenth century introduced it to French fashion, where the French term chiffe, which means rag, gave it its name. But chiffon was anything but common, thus this moniker belied its luxury. According to Pearl Academy assistant professor of textile design Mainak Dey, "Chiffon has always been synonymous with affluence." Because of its delicate texture, it was initially adopted by European nobility before becoming a global fashion statement. Chiffon was a favorite of high couture by the 19th century, praised for its effortless drape and semi-transparent nature, which gave each piece of clothing an air of mystery.

Here's how to cut an avocado securely because many people get hurt.

In recent years, avocados, which were once a rather unknown fruit, have become increasingly popular. Unfortunately, a strange kind of injury known as avocado hand has increased in tandem with this surge.Cutting avocados causes cuts and abrasions to thousands of individuals annually. Due of their increased familiarity with these injuries, surgeons have come up with the name "avocado hand" to refer to them. Because the fruit is slippery, individuals frequently lose their hold and cut themselves by accident. Millennials aren't the only generation that loves avocados. In the twenty-first century, the fruit has grown in popularity in the United States. The fruit has gained a reputation as a healthy snack since it is low in sugar and high in good fats, but it also poses a very special risk. Every year, avocados cause around 9,000 ER visits, many of which are due to hand injuries from improper cutting methods, a condition known as "avocado hand." "When individuals cut their avocados for guacamole, they use a sharp paring knife in one hand while holding the avocado in the other. And that paring knife slips as it strikes the avocado's pit. Experts offer advice on how to distinguish between authentic and fake paneer.

Experts offer advice on how to distinguish between authentic and fake paneer.

Paneer is a mainstay in many cuisines because of its flavorful and adaptable qualities. Cottage cheese gives a delicious flavor to any dish, whether it is grilled, fried, or crumbled. Both adults and children adore and enjoy it, making it one of the most widely used vegetarian protein sources. However, is it possible to determine whether the paneer you are eating is tainted? Being able to recognize it is crucial, especially with the development of fake paneer.Shlloka Joshii, a lifestyle expert and instructor of classical hatha yoga, explained how synthetic paneer is manufactured, saying that vendors use water, lime, starch, and milk powder to make it. To give it that deliciously creamy appearance and color, some people even add detergent and palm oil. You are not alone if you frequently find yourself answering inquiries concerning its quality and validity. It takes an acute sense of taste, smell, and sight to distinguish real paneer from imitation. You can tell the difference between the two with confidence by evaluating its texture, color, taste, fragrance, ingredient list, and source. When it comes to paneer, texture really does speak. The texture of real paneer is solid but somewhat crumbly. It should retain its shape when gently pressed between your fingers, but yet give slightly, according to dietitian and certified diabetes educator Dr. Archana Batra. Conversely, fake paneer is typically too mushy or rubbery. Therefore, it could be time to doubt the legitimacy of your paneer if it crumbles at the least touch or feels like a stress ball, Dr. Batra advised.
