The Indian Express asked the EC for comment on Sen's claims, but the EC did not reply.The EC only deployed micro-observers in West Bengal, which was a first, despite announcing the SIR in nine states and three Union Territories on October 27 of last year. It noted that the order appointing a Special Investigation Team (SIT) consisting exclusively of state police officers prejudices the petitioner-party and its leader, even though the high court has voiced dissatisfaction with the independence and actions of the state police.G.S. Mani, a Tamil Nadu BJP leader and vice president of the state legal cell, has submitted a petition to the Supreme Court requesting a CBI investigation into the stampede in Karur during a rally organized by actor Vijay's political party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), on September 27, which resulted in 41 fatalities. Exams for ISC 2024 Class 12 Start on February 12
Exams for ISC 2024 (Class 12) will be administered by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) starting on February 12. English Paper 1 will be the first to be tested.
