General Bhavnish Kumar, a second-generation officer and General Officer Commanding, Delhi Area, led the procession. The Indian Army demonstrated a phased "Battle Array Format," including its airborne component, for the first time. The government removes the requirement for Sanchar Saathi App pre-installation due to its quick uptake.

The government required the Sanchar Saathi app to be pre-installed on all cellphones in order to give all citizens access to cyber security. The program is safe and designed just to protect citizens from cybercriminals. It protects users while assisting all citizens in "Jan bhagidari" by reporting on such harmful actors and behaviours. The app only serves to protect users, and they are free to uninstall it whenever they choose. The government has clarified this. This software has been downloaded by 1.4 crore people so far, who are adding data on 2000 fraud cases per day. The requirement to install the app was intended to expedite this procedure and make the app easily accessible to less knowledgeable residents, as the number of users has been growing quickly. Six lakh residents have registered to download the app in the last day alone, a tenfold increase in its uptake. This is a confirmation of citizens' faith in the government-provided app for self-defence.The government has chosen not to require pre-installation for mobile manufacturers due to the growing popularity of Sanchar Saathi.

Banking on attention: The need for BFSI marketing to engage customers between UPI and Instagram

Banking on attention: The need for BFSI marketing to engage customers between UPI and Instagram

The financial services sector is at a pivotal juncture as India moves closer to its Digital Bharat vision, with the expectations of a generation of digital natives reshaping legacy institutions. The FINIXX Summit & Awards 2025, which has as its forward-thinking topic "Reimagining BFSI: Powering Digital Bharat Goals," put this change front and center. In order to examine the changing relationship between technology, trust, and consumer engagement in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry, a diverse group of marketing experts, digital strategists, and financial innovators convened for the summit.Experts discussed how rapidly changing consumer behavior is upending traditional marketing strategies in a fascinating panel titled "The Next-Gen BFSI Consumer: Understanding & Engaging Digital-First Audiences." They also discussed what it will take to foster trust, loyalty, and meaningful engagement in an increasingly app-first and attention-deficit world. The panel, which was presided over by Teamology Softech and Media Services Vice President of Growth and Strategy Lawrence Suchitha, included marketing directors from top BFSI institutions: VP of Digital Marketing at HDFC Bank, Aashir Allana AVP of Social Media Marketing at Tata Capital, Nikita Dilip Gupta SBI General Insurance's Head of Marketing and CSR, Rathin Lahiri Varun Mundra, Motilal Oswal Financial Services' Head of Media & Innovations Vishal Lohia, Hybrid Associate Director of Sales."The BFSI landscape has decisively moved from branch-first to app-first engagement," said Lawrence Suchitha, who opened the debate. Consumers of today need digital experiences that are quick, simple, and integrated—all while maintaining the transparency and trust that have traditionally characterized our industry. "The next-gen customer has never seen a passbook or stepped inside a branch," said Aashir Allana of HDFC Bank, emphasizing the point. They view the bank as an app rather than a physical establishment.Allana asserts that modern consumers evaluate their banking experiences by comparing them to Netflix, Amazon, and Zepto rather than other banks. "They want Zepto-level speed and Netflix-level personalization." Despite their impatience and impulsivity, they have a strong research bent. They expect the application procedure to take three minutes, but they will spend hours comparing credit cards. He pointed out that because of this behavioral mismatch, marketers must reach users "somewhere between Instagram and a UPI app."

The Bollywood movie Battle of Galwan has caused controversy due to its factual distortion experts claim that a country's holy area cannot be impacted by over-the-top drama.

On December 27, main actor Salman Khan released the trailer for the Indian film Battle of Galwan, which is set to be released in April 2026 and purports to be based on the 2020 fighting between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region. The clip sparked outrage on the internet on Monday. Chinese internet users frequently make fun of Salman Khan, who is best known to Chinese audiences as the lead actor in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, for portraying parts that seem too unbeatable, with stories that are too straightforward and excessive visual effects that make the drama seem surreal.Salman Khan plays Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu in the movie, a role that Indian media said attracted Bollywood's attention due to his alleged crucial part in the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict. Bollywood films, at most, offer an emotionally charged and entertaining picture, but no amount of cinematic exaggeration can change history or undermine the PLA's resolve to protect China's sovereign land, according to a Chinese scholar on Monday. The Hindustan Times reported on Sunday that the trailer opens with Salman's voice giving a speech while instructing his soldiers on how to combat the "enemy." He is then shown in the video approaching the "enemy," with his soldiers standing next to him. He is then shown clinging to a stick while the "enemy" rushes in their direction. Salman's character strikes someone with the stick as the video comes to a close. On the other hand, some online users questioned whether the movie had imitated a sequence from Game of Thrones. The movie has also sparked additional controversy on the internet, with users pointing to things like extras' outfits and looks, actors' hairstyles that don't fit their military roles or the storyline's suggestion of extreme cold, and—most importantly—a depiction of events that isn't true. About 200 Indian soldiers valiantly defended their land against a force of 1,200 Chinese soldiers on June 15, 2020, according to certain local media, notably India Today, which has promoted the movie as being based on the events that occurred between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region.

Despite Ranveer Singh's apologies, a second complaint was made against him for imitating daivas and offending the Tulu community's sacred feelings by discussing Rishab Shetty's Kantara.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was accused of violating the Tulu customary spirit-worship depicted in Rishab Shetty's Kantara flicks, according to a complaint filed by Bengaluru-based High Court counsel Prashanth Methal. This is the second complaint made against the actor, who in this case expressed regret. Also Read: Rishab Shetty had discouraged Ranveer Singh against copying Daivas before he did it on the stage at IFFI.The Hindu also stated that counsel Prashanth Methal submitted a formal complaint at the High Grounds Police Station alleging that the actor had mocked the revered daiva custom during the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) closing ceremony in Goa on November 28.The complaint furthered claimed that Ranveer had done a parody of the Panjuluri/Guliga daiva who is worshipped in the coastal Karnataka region. The counsel was also cited noting that the performance was nasty, insulting, and hilarious and a huge source of injury to the Hindu feelings particularly among the Tulu population. The complaint additionally alleged that the Ranveer dubbed the daiva a female spirit, which the advocate regarded to as blasphemous and had been purposefully disrespectful. He instructed the police to start prosecuting Ranveer.Ranveer has responded by apologising to the netizens on social media, after a series of criticisms on the internet after the viral video of him copying the daivas. “My intention was to highlight Rishab's incredible performance in the film. Actor to actor, I know how much it would take to perform that particular sequence in the way that he did, for which he has my utmost admiration,” he wrote. In addition, Ranveer apologised for hurting people's feelings and said, "I have always deeply respected every culture, tradition, and belief in our country." If I've harmed anyone's sensibilities, I genuinely apologise.” The behaviour that disrespected the Tulu community happened when Ranveer went to meet with Rishab at the closing ceremony of IFFi, and replicated the daivas although the Kannada actor urged him not to.

Asrani performed in over 300 films during the course of a career that lasted more than 50 years, the majority of them were comedic. He played an eccentric jailer in the 1975 hit Sholay, which stands out as one of his most memorable roles."Asrani ji, the person who made everyone smile, is no longer with us. In a statement shared on the actor's social media accounts, his family wrote, "His passing is an irreparable loss for both Hindi cinema and our hearts." On Monday, family members and close friends attended the performance of his last rites. Asrani was referred to as a "versatile artist" and "gifted entertainer" by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi."In particular, his remarkable performances brought laughter and joy to innumerable lives. Modi commented on X, "His contribution to Indian cinema will always be cherished." Asrani was born in 1941 in Rajasthan, a state in western India. In the 1960s, he studied acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) after starting his career as a voice actor at the state-run All India Radio. Although he made his Hindi cinema debut in 1967, he gained global recognition for his role as a clumsy jailer in the 1975 film Sholay, which was intended to be a caricature of Adolf Hitler.Earlier this year, Asrani recounted his preparation for the part in an interview with BBC Hindi. He stated that the jailer "thinks he is very smart but isn't," according to the film's director Ramesh Sippy and writer Salim-Javed. In the 1980s and 1990s, Asrani was frequently featured on television programs that were broadcast on Doordarshan, the state broadcaster. In the 1980s hit series Natkhat Narad, he portrayed the Hindu scholar Narad Muni. In addition, he directed a number of Gujarati and Hindi movies. From subtle situational humor to overblown performances, the actor became linked with comedic roles in popular movies. However, he thought he was more than a comedian.

After Nitish Bharadwaj, Pankaj Dheer was the most attractive male on the set. I would text him and refer to him as "my most handsome friend." 'Handsome' was a term he was aware of. Twenty-seven Maoists in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, surrender

According to the police, up to 27 active Maoists with a combined reward of ₹50 lakh turned themselves in to the Sukma district on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.This comes a day after 60 other cadres and senior Naxalite Mallojula Venugopal Rao, also known as Bhupathi, surrendered in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. The government's determination to abolish Naxalism, which is mostly centered in the Bastar area of Chhattisgarh, by March 31, 2026, has been emphasized by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.Ten women were among the 27 Naxalites who gave up in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. They surrendered in front of Central Reserve Police Force officials and top police officers. The Union Budget 2024 may see the government loosen the 45-day payment restriction for MSMEs.

The Union Budget 2024 may see the government loosen the 45-day payment restriction for MSMEs.

According to insiders, the government may decide to loosen the rule requiring MSMEs to be paid for goods and services within 45 days of the purchase in order to deter big corporations from exploring alternative sources of funding This could be announced in the budget, which is expected to be delivered on July 23.Overview. The government is thinking about easing the 45-day payment deadline for MSMEs in an effort to keep big businesses from looking for alternative suppliers. It is possible that this modification to Section 43B(h) of the Income Tax Act would be disclosed in the forthcoming July 23 Budget. As per the Finance Act 2023's introduction of Section 43B(h) of the Income Tax Act, a larger company may face greater taxes if it fails to pay an MSME within the stipulated timeframe of 45 days for written agreements. This is because the firm cannot deduct the payment from its taxable income. The amendment was introduced to allow MSMEs to receive payments on time, but many of them expressed fear, according to sources. They said they were afraid that large corporations might ask their vendors to give up their MSME registration in order to do business with them, or they might shift their sourcing requirements to larger firms in an effort to protect their interests.

When you chew a piece of ginger every day for sixty days, your body experiences this.

Strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can be found in ginger. However, what would happen if a person chewed a piece of ginger every day for sixty days? When we asked Dr. Amreen Sheikh, chief nutritionist at KIMS Hospitals, Thane, about it, he replied that it increases circulation, relaxes the airways, and progressively lessens throat inflammation. Many patients report decreased bloating, improved digestion, and fewer coughs after six to eight weeks. Ginger can ease the inner lining of the airways and provide general lung comfort for people who are susceptible to seasonal respiratory symptoms, according to Sheikh.Yes, but with reasonable expectations, Sheikh argued. Unlike medication, ginger does not "open the lungs." Rather, it operates subtly. It can aid those who frequently experience irritation from pollutants, relieve moderate wheezing from cold weather, and clear congestion in the throat. Additionally, by loosening mucus, its warming impact facilitates its expulsion during an illness. Ginger can help with long-term lung conditions like COPD or asthma, but it should never take the place of prescription medication, Sheikh said. While using ginger on a daily basis is generally safe, Sheikh pointed out that excessive use can cause oral irritation, cause acidity in those who are sensitive, or slightly thin the blood. Before developing a habit, people who take blood thinners or have gastritis or acid reflux should speak with a doctor. A tiny portion is more than sufficient; moderation is crucial," Sheikh stated.

Cough syrup deaths: TNFDA probe reveals Coldrif manufacturer's shortcomings

According to CDSCO sources, the investigation into the Kanchipuram-based Coldrif cough syrup producer, which was connected to child fatalities in Madhya Pradesh, has shown shortcomings in the Tamil Nadu Food and Drug Administration's enforcement of fundamental regulatory standards. They said that Sresan Pharma, which was granted a license by the Tamil Nadu Food and Drug Administration (TNFDA) in 2011, carried on operating undetected for more than ten years in spite of its inadequate infrastructure and many infractions of national drug safety regulations.According to the sources, a recent examination by the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) revealed the unit's terrible conditions and complete disregard for Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). "The CDSCO has not participated in any of Sresan Pharma's audits. This company was not included in any of the CDSCO databases since the CDSCO was not involved and the state FDA did not provide the CDSCO with any information on it, according to a source.Rule 84AB of the D and C Rules mandates that manufacturers update all of their certified items on the "Sugam" site, according to another source at the CDSCO.In order to facilitate improved monitoring, the regulation was notified to create a national database of all the authorized items in the nation. "The business failed to list its goods in the database. It did not follow this guideline as a result. According to the source, the state regulator is in charge of ensuring that the regulation is followed in the state.

Why it's never a good idea to do a DIY chemical peel

Why it's never a good idea to do a DIY chemical peel

People all over the world are enamored with the idea of having flawlessly clear skin, whether they have glazed or glass skin. They are using expert treatments, such as wine baths and salmon sperm facials, in addition to skincare and makeup to reach their goals. In recent years, chemical peels have been increasingly popular among these. However, as members of the social media generation, it appears like there is a do-it-yourself solution for practically anything. By combining various acids, many people have even begun trying chemical peels at home.Even while your nani-dadi ke nuskhe were safe enough to try at home, trying a chemical peel is a very different matter and might cause significant skin damage. But first, comprehend...According to Dr. Ruben Bhasin Passi, dermatology consultant at CK Birla Hospital in Gurugram, "Chemical peels are skin treatments that use acid-based solutions to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin," India Today reports. According to her, these treatments function by encouraging cell turnover, breaking down dead skin cells, and boosting the creation of collagen.Peels can treat problems like acne, hyperpigmentation, fine wrinkles, and uneven texture, depending on their strength (light, medium, or deep). "While deeper peels like trichloroacetic acid penetrate deeper for more dramatic results, light peels like alpha-hydroxy acids target the epidermis," Dr. Passi continues.Additionally, according to Dr. Shifa Yadav, dermatology and cosmetology consultant at Artemis Hospitals in Gurugram, this procedure aids in the skin's regeneration of new, healthier cells, giving it a smoother, more even complexion. It is frequently used in skin care clinics to improve the appearance and feel of skin, but in order to prevent irritation or injury, it must be applied and maintained properly.Even though experimenting with at-home hacks can be enjoyable, practical, and even economical, it's crucial to keep in mind that not all conditions can be safely treated using do-it-yourself methods. To prevent long-term damage, certain beauty procedures—particularly those involving potent chemicals—require professional knowledge and expertise.According to Dr. Vidushi Jain, medical head of Dermalinks in Delhi-NCR, homemade peels frequently employ the incorrect acid concentrations without taking the safety of the skin into account. They lack the professional followup that such procedures require, which can lead to burns, infections, uneven pigmentation, and delayed healing. "Many kits have strong acids like TCA or glycolic acid that can harm the skin," says Dr. Yadav.

As regional tensions rise, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan sign a mutual defense treaty.

As regional tensions rise, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan sign a mutual defense treaty.

In the face of increased regional tensions, Saudi Arabia and nuclear-armed Pakistan have formally inked a mutual defense pact, a step that greatly fortifies a decades-long security cooperation. The improved defense relations coincide with Gulf Arab nations' growing skepticism about the US's capacity to uphold their long-standing security guarantee, which was exacerbated by Israel's attack in Qatar last week. When questioned about the timing of the deal, a senior Saudi official stated, "This agreement is the result of years of discussions." "This is an institutionalization of long-standing and profound cooperation between our two countries, not a reaction to particular nations or events." Arab nations were incensed when Israel attempted to murder Hamas leadership officials in Doha with airstrikes while they were debating a ceasefire proposal that Qatar is mediating. In a complicated region, the agreement on Wednesday may change the strategic equation. In an effort to address long-standing security concerns, Washington's allies, the Gulf monarchs, have worked to stabilize their relations with Israel and Iran. However, the war in Gaza has completely upended the area, and twice in a single year, Israel and Iran have directly attacked the Gulf state of Qatar. Speaking under anonymity, the top Saudi official agreed that relations with India, Pakistan's competitor and another nuclear-armed state, must be balanced."We have a stronger relationship with India than we have ever had. We shall keep strengthening our bond and do everything in our power to promote regional harmony. The official responded, "This is a comprehensive defensive agreement that encompasses all military means," when asked if Pakistan would be required to give Saudi Arabia a nuclear umbrella under the accord. After signing the deal, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of the kingdom, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were seen embracing on public television. Field Marshal Asim Munir, the head of Pakistan's army and considered the most powerful individual in the nation, was present."This agreement, which reflects the shared commitment of both nations to enhance their security and to achieving security and peace in the region and the world, aims to develop aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression," read a statement from the office of the prime minister of Pakistan. "Any aggression against one of the countries will be deemed an aggression against both, according to the agreement."

An Overview of the UPSC Issue | SCO Summit 2025 and India: Four Crucial Questions for Prelims and Mains

An Overview of the UPSC Issue | SCO Summit 2025 and India: Four Crucial Questions for Prelims and Mains

By scheduling two significant events in one week—the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in the northeastern city of Tianjin and a Victory Day parade in Beijing's Tiananmen Square commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II—Beijing has entered diplomatic high season as summer draws to a close. It's difficult to overlook the symbolism. The events convey a clear message: in contrast to the Western narrative of a free international order led by the United States, China is positioning itself as the standard-bearer of a multipolar world dominated by the Global South. Both occasions are expertly produced political plays that combine military prowess, diplomatic posture, and historical narrative. Additionally, China has two audiences in mind: it wants to project power and influence in its neighborhood and beyond while simultaneously boosting domestic public morale. For a long time, Chinese strategists have emphasized that the goal of foreign policy is to establish an external environment that supports economic growth at home. Originating with previous Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, this core idea has evolved into the current leadership's catchphrase for negotiating a turbulent global landscape. The two events' participating nations attest to China's continued strategic emphasis on Asia. The majority of major Asian nations are represented among the more than 30 heads of state and international organizations taking part, with the notable exception of Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and the Philippines—all of whom are strong security partners of the United States.

Chinese Envoy: U.S. Tariffs Threaten Stability, Demand Response

In a recent address, China's Ambassador to the United States warned that remaining silent in the face of increasing U.S. tariffs would only encourage further pressure. The statement comes amid growing tensions over trade policies, with the U.S. implementing new tariffs on Chinese goods in what it says is a response to unfair trade practices and national security concerns. The ambassador urged dialogue and mutual respect, emphasizing that cooperation, rather than confrontation, benefits both nations. He suggested that escalating trade barriers harm not just the economies involved but also global supply chains and ordinary consumers who bear the cost of such measures. While the U.S. maintains that its tariffs are necessary to protect domestic industries and maintain fair competition, Chinese officials argue that these steps are politically motivated and harmful to long-term stability. The ambassador's remarks appear to reflect a broader effort by China to rally international support against what it views as economic coercion. As both countries continue to shape global economic trends, the tone and direction of their engagement will have wide-reaching implications—not only for governments and businesses but for millions of people whose daily lives are touched by the trade between the two powers.

India's Semiconductor Hub May Eventually Become Bengaluru-Mysuru Kant, Amitabh

OVERVIEW According to Kant, the geographic belt is the most practical location for semiconductor manufacturing facilities because it provides a consistent supply of materials and electricity. He continued by saying that the current union government's main priority for the next five years will be to train young people in cutting-edge technological fields. According to Inc42, by 2030, the rapidly expanding Indian semiconductor market is expected to surpass $150 billion. The Bengaluru-Mysuru belt of Karnataka, according to former CEO of NITI Aayog and G20 Sherpa Amitabh Kant, provides the "best" ecosystem in India for semiconductor design and manufacture.Speaking on Thursday, June 6, at the India Global Innovation Connect event in Bengaluru, Kant stated that the region is the most practical place to build semiconductor fabrication facilities because it has a consistent supply of minerals and electricity."In India, the Bengaluru-Mysore belt of Karnataka has the best ecology (for semiconductor production) of any place. This requires minerals, water, and a consistent supply of energy, all of which are present in the area. Therefore, the belt might be the ideal location to advance both production and become the global hub for design, Kant continued. The former CEO of NITI Aayog stated that Bengaluru and Hyderabad already accounted for around 30–35% of India's current semiconductor design, and that the region could potentially design semiconductors for businesses worldwide. In response to a query concerning the planned location of the nation's first tech park centered around quantum computing, Kant stated that Karnataka was "no better place" to create a center for the cutting edge technology. According to Kant, the present union government's main priority for the ensuing five years will be equipping young people with skills in cutting-edge technology."This current government's primary focus for the next five years will be fully on apprenticeship and skill development. It won't just focus on the information technology industry; it will also address the creation of new jobs in developing fields, Kant continued.Additionally, he stated that more upskilling startups were required to assist in educating aspiring engineers in fields with great demand and developing technology. "More engineers are needed to help create the next generation of Indian enterprises. We need at least two million engineers with expertise in cutting-edge fields like data analytics and artificial intelligence for that. In order to close the supply gap, engineering colleges' curricula must be reorganized, realigned, and reoriented toward contemporary demands. Kant continued, "And this needs to be done rapidly. With initiatives like the INR 6,000 Cr India's Quantum Computing Mission and the INR 76,000 Cr Production-Linked-Incentive (PLI) scheme for semiconductor manufacturing, the Center hopes to capitalize on emerging technologies to drive the nation's product economy, advance the next stage of innovation, and support the startup ecosystem. The Tata Group recently announced the establishment of a semiconductor ATMP (a mix of assembly, testing, marking, and packaging) unit in Assam, at an estimated cost of INR 27K Cr, in response to these scandals.

According to the ICMR, pressure cooking or boiling can enhance the nutritional value of pulses. Here's how to do it properly.

Pulses are well known for their outstanding nutritional value, especially their high protein content. They are a mainstay in many Indian diets. On the other hand, poor handling and cooking techniques can greatly reduce these vital proteins' bioavailability. The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) has released detailed guidelines on maintaining the protein balance in legumes so that people can benefit fully from eating pulses. In order to increase the nutritional value of pulses, it was suggested to boil them with enough water. When boiling, don't forget to add just the necessary amount of water. Throwing out the hot cooking water might result in the loss of B complex vitamins and vitamin C. Vitamins are also lost with prolonged boiling.Dal is a mainstay in nearly all Indian kitchens. It is inexpensive, readily available, and quickly transformed into a variety of meals. Its strong nutritional profile is what makes it more popular. There are enough macro and micronutrients in a bowl of dal to fuel your body from the inside out. It actually serves as a filling supper any time of day. However, did you know that dal may lose its nutrients if it is not cooked correctly? Yes, you read correctly. In their most recent advice for Indians, the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) warned that overcooking dal could negate all of its health benefits. The body also discussed how to cook dal properly to maximize its nutritional value. Now let's clarifyWhat Occurs If Dal Is Overcooked? Dal's quality, nutrition, and overall goodness are allegedly affected by prolonged boiling or cooking, according to the ICMR. Because longer boiling results in the loss of lysine, pulses lose some of their nutritional value. The instructions state, "Remember to add only the necessary amount of water during boiling."Four Adverse Reactions to Overcooking Dal: 1. Protein loss: Dal is rich in protein, which serves as the foundation for our general well-being. However, this only occurs when the protein content is unaltered. According to the leading medical authority, overcooking can alter the structural makeup of proteins, which would further lessen their total therapeutic value. 2. Destroy vitamins: B and C, two important vitamins found in Dal, are thought to be heat-sensitive. This indicates that prolonged boiling could degrade the pulses' overall quality and reduce their nutritional content. 3. Affects texture and flavor: It's common knowledge that properly cooked dal has the best flavor. However, overcooking it could render it extremely mushy and change the dish's texture as a whole. Moreover, elevated heat-induced alterations in nutrient structure

Sourav Ganguly feels the impact player for the IPL should be disclosed at toss.

Sourav Ganguly feels the impact player for the IPL should be disclosed at toss.

Saurav Ganguly, the director of cricket for the Delhi Capitals, speaks to the media on March 27, 2024, the Wednesday before the IPL 2024 T20 cricket match at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.Sourav Ganguly, the director of cricket for the Delhi Capitals and a former captain of India, supports keeping the impact-player rule in place for the Indian Premier League but prefers that teams make their own decisions at the toss. The impact-player rule has gained a lot of attention in the wake of the recent IPL season, in which eight teams scored more than 250 runs.Ganguly went on to say that he hopes the boundaries would be pushed even further in future IPL tournaments. The impact player rule appeals to me. The only issue I have with the IPL is that I wish the grounds were a little bit larger. On the fringes of the Blue Ocean Corporation's International Procurement and Supply Chain Conference, Ganguly told the journalists, "The fences should go a little behind."It's a fantastic competition. With the impact player, your sole option is to make your decision prior to the toss, thus some skill is required there."So, disclose the impact player beforehand since it would need a lot of talent and strategy. But as for the impact player, I am all for it," the former captain of India stated.Ganguly supported Prithvi Shaw, who had a poor IPL season this year, pointing out that he is still a young player still getting used to the shorter format. "Prithvi Shaw is a small child. He's only twenty-three. He's still getting the hang of T20 cricket. He has a great deal of skill and will only grow better. Sometimes we ask too much of people too soon, and I'm confident Prithvi will succeed given his skill set," he continued.Rishabh Pant, a wicketkeeper-batter, had returned to his previous form, according to Ganguly, following his 2022 automobile accident. "He performed admirably for the DC in the IPL. I have always thought that he is a terrific player, so I was thrilled to see how he returned," Ganguly remarked. "I've said it before: he is extraordinary. Such skill shouldn't be lost for such terrible causes (accident). He is the old Rishabh Pant, having put in a lot of effort to get back to his current position." As he looks to return home from Tripura, Ganguly also hoped that India's wicketkeeper-batter, Wriddhiman Saha, would be selected by the Bengal selectors. He is right to want to play for Bengal. "He is a Bengali boy," stated Ganguly. "He was playing professionally in Tripura, so he moved there for two years. Now that he has completed it, he wishes to be in Bengal. He will definitely be chosen by the selectors for Bengal. "At this time, I'm not participating in Bengal cricket. When I completed (my) BCCI, I did not run for president (stint). I simply took a little vacation. They will carry out the decision made by the officials and selectors," he continued.

In contrast to conventional mascaras, tubing mascaras create microscopic tubes around each lash to give all-day, smudge-proof, flake-free use. Their removal method is also amazing: all that's needed is tepid water; makeup remover is not needed. When lifestyles and innovation collide Tubing mascaras meet the modern consumer's demand for items that can keep up with their hectic schedules. BJP kept saying hum Ram ko laaye hain, the reality is they did business in the name of Ram, said SP's Ayodhya winner.

Caste was not prominent, according to Awadhesh Prasad, a Dalit politician who emerged victorious in the general election in Faizabad. People did not like Lallu Singh's statement that the BJP needed 400 seats to amend the Constitution. One of the highlights of the Samajwadi Party's (SP) triumph in the Uttar Pradesh Lok Sabha elections over the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) was its win in the Faizabad Lok Sabha constituency, which includes Ayodhya. Two-time MP Lallu Singh was beaten by experienced MLA Awadhesh Prasad, a member of the SP's founding party, with a margin of 54,567 votes. In Uttar Pradesh, Prasad was the only Dalit candidate to become victorious from a non-reserved seat.Prasad's victory is seen as an ideological gain for the SP and the INDIA alliance because the BJP fought a prestige war over Ayodhya, home of the Ram Temple. Following his triumph, Prasad's admirers and supporters have flocked to his house; some have brought flowers, while others have brought pictures of Mulayam Singh Yadav and B R Ambedkar. Speaking with The Indian Express, Prasad touches on a number of topics, including the significance of his triumph, the Ram Temple controversy, and his mother Maina Devi, who passed away while he was imprisoned during the Emergency. In Uttar Pradesh, Prasad was the only Dalit candidate to become victorious from a non-reserved seat. Prasad's victory is seen as an ideological gain for the SP and the INDIA bloc because the Ram Temple's location in Ayodhya was a point of pride for the BJP.

Acer Swift 14 AI intuitive user manual Feels new, yet looks familiar.

Driven by the Snapdragon X Elite/Plus SoC, Copilot+ PCs are leading the AI PC revolution with many on-device AI experiences like Cocreator and Recall. During the Computex 2024 event, I had the opportunity to firsthand experience using one of these PCs, the Acer Swift 14 AI. Additionally, as of June 18, this is the first Copilot+ PC to ship.I'll admit that at first I was dubious, but after spending little time with the computer, I had a unique—and positive—impression of it. I discuss my opinions about the Acer Swift 14 AI, Copilot+ PCs, and how they vary from conventional x86-based Windows PCs.My ACER SWIFT X 14 (SFX14-71G-70K) was just acquired at the beginning of the year. It functioned okay for a time, however my laptop began to overheat after three months. It seems to get as high as 60 °C even when I just have Chrome open when my laptop boots up. The temperature rises as soon as I plug in the charger, making my body extremely heated. I'm trying to find ways to cool off. Does anyone have any assistance?I reside in the tropics and use my Swift X SFX14-51G-7003 model with a Gen3 1TB NVMe SSD. I've never experienced any overheating problems or shutdowns, but I did remove any bloatware and third-party apps. The power plan is balanced, and only Windows defaults and programs, such as Defender and Edge, are used. All security is turned on (green checkmarks). Verify that the build number for Windows 11 23H2 is 22631.35127. When using the Acer Quick Access-System Usage Mode, you can speed up the fan. The laptop will cool down better in performance mode. Ensure that the laptop is turned off and not suspended, and turn off hibernation.Hello, I tried the Performance Mode and it seems to have helped. My Windows build is 22631.3447. However, when it comes to the Power Plan, I tried changing it to balanced but it would not get past active. Additionally, occasionally my screen just freezes while the cursor continues to travel, and since I'm relatively new, I honestly have no idea how to remedy it.

Uncertain about which stocks to purchase following the election results? Why not purchase the whole Nifty

Citing a low expense ratio and outperformance of traditional mutual funds, analysts advise long-term benefits from investing in Nifty 50 ETFs in systematic withdrawal plan (SIP) mode. Nifty 50 ETFs continue to have a promising long-term outlook, notwithstanding recent volatility.Given the unpredictable behavior of the stock market after the BJP, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, was upset in the elections, analysts suggest starting SIP investments in Nifty 50 ETFs."ETFs provide investors with the best of both worlds by having a low expense ratio and the ability to liquidate the funds, much like listed securities." Furthermore, even while there may be some short-term volatility in the market, Nifty 50 ETFs continue to have a promising long-term outlook. This is because, over time, a sizable portion of ETFs typically outperform conventional mutual funds," stated Shruti Jain, CSO of Arihant Capital.Following a 6% decline following the election results, the Nifty 50 hit an all-time high on Monday and is currently beginning to recover. The average return of the Nifty 50 ETF during the previous five and ten years has been approximately 14.68% and 12.70%, respectively. These results suggest that investing at any time will yield favorable long-term returns."The Nifty 50 ETF is a great long-term investment vehicle. The Nifty 50 ETF enables you to invest in and diversify your holdings across the top 50 NSE stocks based on market capitalization. These stocks have a high degree of liquidity and low volatility, which implies that there is a lot less danger when making long-term investments in them. Although market fluctuations are inevitable, the Nifty 50 ETF has long displayed an upward trend. Kotak Mutual's Satish Dondapati is an ETF fund manager.

Heeramandi Richa Chada had a rare sense of humiliation, according to Sanjay Leela Bhansali, while filming Masoom Dil Hai Mera.

Richa Chadha, the Heeramandi actress, won numerous accolades for her performance as Lajjo in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's first over-the-top film. Despite having little on screen time, her emotional rendition of the song "Masoom Dil Hai Mera" resonated strongly with the audience. But there was a stressful incident between Chadha and Bhansali behind the scenes, which they both talked candidly about in their interviews. The actor started crying as the director told him a story from the set, according to an interview with India Today. Sanjay Leela Bhansali expressed his frustration at Chadha's inability to give the expressions he desired. That was a unique occasion. However, her performance wasn't quite hitting home. She was making an effort, but I wasn't receiving my want. I became a little irritated after a while. "You've practiced it, but it's still not clicking, you're not getting the mindset," I remarked. She started to get upset, and I started to get a little angry. She stood in front of the camera looking disturbed. To vo thodi naraz hokar samne khadi rahi. The Fukrey actor had an angry expression on his face, which Bhansali recalled as being "special." He went on, "What I said to her and what she said to me led to that moment." However, it was recorded when the song was being recorded. This was one of the rare occasions when an actor felt the embarrassment of the situation rather than my getting upset and asking, "How many takes will you want?" in all the songs I've shot, every major music number I've shot. Both parties were angry, but you had to be in that frame of mind or it won't show on your face. Perhaps another actor stormed off.Season 2 will see Heeramandi return. Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar is a huge success thanks to the tremendous fan support for Season 1, and Netflix India is happy to announce that the series will return for Season 2!

AI in healthcare Using cutting-edge breakthroughs to transform patient care and operations

Policies that are based on data are crucial for tackling health problems like addiction to vaping. Through the analysis of healthcare data, regulations can be assessed for their influence and modified to achieve better results.Artificial Intelligence is changing the healthcare sector quickly, helping to improve patient monitoring and combat antibiotic resistance. Ayush Tomar, a well-known expert in data science and machine learning, especially in the healthcare industry, was interviewed by Indiatoday.in. He has submitted over fifteen patent applications with the goal of leveraging AI to improve healthcare. With a master's in computer science from the University of Minnesota, I began my career in artificial intelligence. My curiosity about using AI in healthcare brought me to my current position as Director of Data Science and ML at UnitedHealth Group. Here, I've spearheaded the creation of AI-powered solutions that have revolutionized physician-patient matching and patient care, leading to the submission of more than 15 patents. Millions of patients have benefited from my work, which has greatly improved our capacity to use data for tailored treatment. What are the advantages of using healthcare data to customize patient care? How does one go about doing so? To customize suggestions and therapies for each patient, we examine large-scale healthcare databases. We can create individualized treatment plans and link patients with the finest physicians for their particular requirements by utilizing AI. This method improves patient satisfaction, improves health outcomes, and makes better use of healthcare resources, all of which contribute to a better overall patient experience. How do you see data-driven policy choices affecting healthcare in the future, especially when it comes to pressing issues? Policies that are based on data are crucial for tackling health problems like addiction to vaping. Through the analysis of healthcare data, regulations can be assessed for their influence and modified to achieve better results. For example, our study on lung damage from vaping showed how certain FDA regulations significantly decreased the number of instances. With the use of these knowledge, policymakers may develop programs that more effectively safeguard public health and tackle new health risks.Could you provide more details about how AI and large language models (LLMs) are enhancing patient experiences in medical settings? By streamlining and personalizing healthcare interactions, AI and LLMs greatly improve patient experiences. They facilitate the creation of individualized patient communications, automated recording, and streamlined medical record summaries. This lessens the administrative load on medical professionals, enabling them to concentrate more on patient care and enhancing the patient experience in general.

USA complete the all-time historic upset by stunning Pakistan in the dramatic Super Over.

After a boundary off the last ball of the USA's run chase sent the match to a Super Over, the tournament's co-hosts triumphed in Dallas, pulling off one of the biggest upsets in history. In six of the eight men's T20 World Cups, Pakistan has advanced at least to the semifinals; they finished second in the most recent competition, which took place in Australia in 2022. However, they faced an American team that executed flawlessly that day to achieve one of the most significant outcomes in the history of the sport. In the Super Over, Pakistan looked to Mohammad Amir, but the USA amassed 18 runs with only one boundary from Aaron Jones' bat thanks to three wides and several overthrows. And as the USA accomplished the most incredible of victories on home soil, Netravalkar Saurabh maintained his composure with the ball.USA, who were set at 160 to win in regular time, came dangerously close to winning the match in the first few overs as their top order effectively thwarted a potent Pakistani attack. After opening batsman Steven Taylor was out for twelve (16) in the Powerplay's last over, co-hosts of the event Monank Patel and Andries Gous put Pakistan on the back foot with a stunning combination that placed them in triple figures and appeared to be in control of the run chase. With a stylish half-century to give his side hope and 68 during a pivotal stand with Gous, Monank was especially outstanding.Aaron Jones hit a superb century (36* from 26), but Pakistan appeared to be on the verge of triumph thanks to a brilliant exhibition of death bowling. Nevertheless, the USA scored 11 runs off the last three deliveries of the innings, with Nitish Kumar hitting the final ball for four to force a Super Over and electrify the Dallas crowd.
