A youth development program for the Pacific countries is being incorporated by Badminton Oceania into this seven-day, two-tournament event, in anticipation of the VICTOR Oceania Championships 2024, which will give young people an introduction to the world of international badminton.The VICTOR Oceania Championships 2024 are a badminton festival that features an individual competition, a men's and women's team event, and a TOTALENERGIES BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Finals in May that will be held in China for the victors.  Over 212 players and support personnel from eight Oceania nations will compete in Geelong from February 12–18. India Wants To Win Against Syria To Maintain Hopes For Asian Cup Knockouts

After losing their first two group matches, India is without a win and seems hopeless. To survive in the AFC Asian Cup football tournament in Al Khor, Qatar on Tuesday, they simply need to win against a formidable Syria. India's incapacity to compete fiercely with the best teams on the continent was exposed by losses of 0-2 and 0-3 to Australia and Uzbekistan, but a victory over Syria could restore some pride to the Sunil Chhetri-led team.
