Ranji Trophy: Kerala is up against host Bihar.

In their Ranji Trophy Elite Group B match against Kerala on Sunday at Moin-ul Haq Stadium in Patna, hosts Bihar seized the initiative. By the time play ended on Day 3, Kerala was still 88 runs behind Bihar, who had amassed 62 runs for two wickets in their second innings through 17 overs.At the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, India all-rounder Shivam Dube scored a defiant century to put Mumbai back in the match against Uttar Pradesh.Dube maintained his impressive form from the previous several weeks, hitting seven sixes and nine fours en route to 117 off 130 balls.Mumbai increased their lead to 177 runs when the left-handed batsman and all-rounder Shams Mulani put on 173 runs for the seventh wicket. Mumbai had lost the first innings lead by 126 runs.Mumbai reached 303/8 in response to UP's 324 after being knocked out for 198 in the first innings, with Mohit Avasthi (34) and Sylvester Dsouza (2) at the crease.In the second innings at Patna, hosts Bihar led Kerala by 88 runs after they reached 62/2.

At the Moin Ul Haq Stadium, Kerala made 227 runs when they batted first, giving the hosts an overall lead of 150 runs before Bihar was bowled out for 377. Sakibul Gani scored an additional thirty runs to help Bihar reach a respectable 150 from 225 balls, including 17 fours and two sixes.Chhattisgarh defeated Andhra by 300 runs at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Ranchi. After scoring 431 in the first innings to take a 169-run advantage, Andhra restricted Chhattisgarh to 262 and declared at 150/2 to set a target of 320 runs to win. Chhattisgarh finished the third day unscathed, reaching 20 for no loss, but they will need to be cautious against an Andhra bowling attack that features an all-around player in Prithvi Raj Yarra, who took three wickets in the first innings.
