How HRtech Startup Erekrut Is Revolutionizing Employers Hiring and Employee Job Search Processes

Since the start of the Covid-19 outbreak, hiring has been erratic. The alternatives available to recruiters have changed over time, ranging from totally remote, tech-driven interviews to in-person meetings brought on by the present back-to-office demands. Job seekers have also witnessed seismic shifts, with tech giants facing broad cuts and the "Great Resignation" giving way to enormous layoffs. Nevertheless, it's still difficult to get qualified applicants through the door, even in this unstable labor market. As a result, businesses and recruiting managers seek to create a talent pipeline that is both efficient and affordable, as well as future-proof recruitment. There are numerous elements to a successful talent hunt, such as finding the ideal candidate, creating a memorable application process, and providing individualized growth plans. Additionally, hiring must be quick and scalable in order to avoid losing out on top talent, income, and credibility for the business. To keep ahead of the curve, nothing really works better than quickly identifying the top candidates for open positions and automating processes. However, in 2019 Amity University fashion student Ajay Goyal witnessed the other side of the story while working as a volunteer for the university's campus-to-corporate program. It was obvious at the time that traditional hiring would need to be fixed because of its drawn-out processes, slow candidate responses, and general impersonal approach that failed to draw in or accommodate outstanding talent. Ajay, being one to let things slide, went to his father, Dr. Ravinder Goyal, who was a professional with almost thirty years of expertise in vocational training and placement.

JEE Main 2024 Topper To support son’s IIT dream, mother left her corporate job, shifted to Kota

Ishaan spent his free time doing activities that helped improve his senses and abilities while relaxing. Ishaan Gupta, 17, from Gurugram, Haryana, decided to move to Kota to better prepare for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). His struggle paid off as he scored 100 percent in JEE 2024 Session 1 exams. His mother Meenakshi Gupta left the company in Gurugram to move in with him. “We moved here in April 2022 and after that he got sick several times. I was there for him in those moments and that convinced me that I took the right step by moving here," he said. Gupta received a 100% scholarship from the Allen Institute, which enabled him to live on campus with his mother. It was Ishan's first attempt at JEE Main and he wasn't sure of getting 100 percent.“I had doubts about chemistry because of one question.I knew from my preparation and solving papers that I might make stupid mistakes in chemistry. But I'm glad I got rid of them, he said. Ishan's parents who were the first in his family to appear for JEE are CS and CA and in 9th grade he was introduced to engineering through his friends. "I wanted to explore things and since I liked maths and physics, engineering was a good career choice," he told indianexpress.com.. Unlike many other JEE toppers in the past, Ishan did not go 'overboard' with his preparation. "I didn't have a fixed time for daily studying. In the morning, I went to my training center, came back home and relaxed for almost 30 minutes. After that I checked my morning class notes. If I had more time and energy. remaining, I would practice the questions and previous years' sample papers," he said. The 17-year-old had several ups and downs during his two-year journey to Kota, but his mother's support and encouragement kept him going. Although the journey was difficult for Ishan, it was equally difficult for his mother. "It was scary when I heard the unfortunate news of student suicides in Kota. It was shocking because these were teenagers of my son's age who lost their lives in the process. I also had my doubts whether my son would be happy or not , but I trusted him and our relationship. Court relief for Byju’s in TLB lenders’ suit

Byju’s won a legal reprieve on Monday when a civil court in Bengaluru declined to grant a plea by its lenders challenging Manipal Group Chairman Ranjan Pai’s acquisition of a 40% stake in the embattled edtech firm’s subsidiary Aakash Institute, two people aware of the development said.  The lenders of Byju’s $1.2 billion term loan had moved the city court last Thursday seeking an ex-parte injunction on the transaction allowing Pai to convert a loan of about $250-$300 million he had advanced to the brick-and-mortar coaching network into equity in Aakash Institute. Thursday’s legal challenge by the TLB lenders caught both Byju’s and Pai “by surprise” the sources said. The lenders were petitioning the court about Pai's conversion of debt into equity at a lower valuation of $600 million compared to the valuation of $950 million ascribed to Aakash Institute when it was acquired by Byju’s parent Think & Learn in 2021. As such, the proposed deal hurts the lenders of Think & Learn, the lenders contended. This lender group controls 80% of the term loan raised by Byju's in November 2021.  According to people present at the hearing on Monday, the court did not grant the injunction to block the deal as per the lenders' plea while also adding that the jurisdiction for the case was not correct. The lenders had cited the credit agreement which they said bars Byju’s parent Think & Learn from selling any asset without prior approval from the lenders, the sources said. Byju’s made its arguments over the weekend at the city civil court, they added.
