The last straw was their drug-fueled behavior during the Barbados recording. But lead singer Shaun Ryder didn't waste any time in launching his next musical endeavor, Black Grape, that same year with Paul Leveridge, well known as Kermit from Ruthless Rap Assassins, and Mondays' maracas player Bez.
