As the Executive Director of The Serum Institute of India and a well-known fashion enthusiast, Natasha Poonawalla is also a friend of Bollywood. She is frequently spotted wearing elegant clothes to red carpet events and interacting with well-known international celebrities. Her love of unusual fashion pieces opened up a new world of space experimentation, but sometimes you see her making a striking appearance at the Met Gala and the next she's dressed chicly for winter alongside Kareena Kapoor. The diva discussed her new London residence and how its "quirkiness and whimsical aspects" beckoned her through the doors in a recent interview with British Vogue. Karl Lagerfeld renovated the 23,000 square foot house's 1920s interiors to create Natasha's artistic haven. "My whole goal was to use it the way Karl had used it. Since I'm a fashion enthusiast "Natasha, who also thinks having fashion-show lights in the house is fine, said. With their two sons, Cyrus and Darius, Natasha and Adar Poonawalla resided in Pune and Mumbai after their 2006 marriage. Their partnerships with Oxford University and AstraZeneca only persuaded them to relocate to England during the pandemic. They have decorated the property with Natasha's fashion sense in mind, having purchased it in December 2023.
On the ground floor is the library where Adar holds some of his meetings. The room's artwork consists of a futuristic desk and chair designed by Zaha Hadid, encircled by black velvet space-age quilted sofas, an Earth-shaped disc by Anish Kapoor, and, perhaps the room's most striking piece, an Ingo Maurer Broken Egg light. The library's bookcases are stocked with championship horse racing trophies.
