General Bhavnish Kumar, a second-generation officer and General Officer Commanding, Delhi Area, led the procession. The Indian Army demonstrated a phased "Battle Array Format," including its airborne component, for the first time. The government removes the requirement for Sanchar Saathi App pre-installation due to its quick uptake.

The government required the Sanchar Saathi app to be pre-installed on all cellphones in order to give all citizens access to cyber security. The program is safe and designed just to protect citizens from cybercriminals. It protects users while assisting all citizens in "Jan bhagidari" by reporting on such harmful actors and behaviours. The app only serves to protect users, and they are free to uninstall it whenever they choose. The government has clarified this. This software has been downloaded by 1.4 crore people so far, who are adding data on 2000 fraud cases per day. The requirement to install the app was intended to expedite this procedure and make the app easily accessible to less knowledgeable residents, as the number of users has been growing quickly. Six lakh residents have registered to download the app in the last day alone, a tenfold increase in its uptake. This is a confirmation of citizens' faith in the government-provided app for self-defence.The government has chosen not to require pre-installation for mobile manufacturers due to the growing popularity of Sanchar Saathi.

Banking on attention: The need for BFSI marketing to engage customers between UPI and Instagram

Banking on attention: The need for BFSI marketing to engage customers between UPI and Instagram

The financial services sector is at a pivotal juncture as India moves closer to its Digital Bharat vision, with the expectations of a generation of digital natives reshaping legacy institutions. The FINIXX Summit & Awards 2025, which has as its forward-thinking topic "Reimagining BFSI: Powering Digital Bharat Goals," put this change front and center. In order to examine the changing relationship between technology, trust, and consumer engagement in the BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) industry, a diverse group of marketing experts, digital strategists, and financial innovators convened for the summit.Experts discussed how rapidly changing consumer behavior is upending traditional marketing strategies in a fascinating panel titled "The Next-Gen BFSI Consumer: Understanding & Engaging Digital-First Audiences." They also discussed what it will take to foster trust, loyalty, and meaningful engagement in an increasingly app-first and attention-deficit world. The panel, which was presided over by Teamology Softech and Media Services Vice President of Growth and Strategy Lawrence Suchitha, included marketing directors from top BFSI institutions: VP of Digital Marketing at HDFC Bank, Aashir Allana AVP of Social Media Marketing at Tata Capital, Nikita Dilip Gupta SBI General Insurance's Head of Marketing and CSR, Rathin Lahiri Varun Mundra, Motilal Oswal Financial Services' Head of Media & Innovations Vishal Lohia, Hybrid Associate Director of Sales."The BFSI landscape has decisively moved from branch-first to app-first engagement," said Lawrence Suchitha, who opened the debate. Consumers of today need digital experiences that are quick, simple, and integrated—all while maintaining the transparency and trust that have traditionally characterized our industry. "The next-gen customer has never seen a passbook or stepped inside a branch," said Aashir Allana of HDFC Bank, emphasizing the point. They view the bank as an app rather than a physical establishment.Allana asserts that modern consumers evaluate their banking experiences by comparing them to Netflix, Amazon, and Zepto rather than other banks. "They want Zepto-level speed and Netflix-level personalization." Despite their impatience and impulsivity, they have a strong research bent. They expect the application procedure to take three minutes, but they will spend hours comparing credit cards. He pointed out that because of this behavioral mismatch, marketers must reach users "somewhere between Instagram and a UPI app."

The Bollywood movie Battle of Galwan has caused controversy due to its factual distortion experts claim that a country's holy area cannot be impacted by over-the-top drama.

On December 27, main actor Salman Khan released the trailer for the Indian film Battle of Galwan, which is set to be released in April 2026 and purports to be based on the 2020 fighting between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region. The clip sparked outrage on the internet on Monday. Chinese internet users frequently make fun of Salman Khan, who is best known to Chinese audiences as the lead actor in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, for portraying parts that seem too unbeatable, with stories that are too straightforward and excessive visual effects that make the drama seem surreal.Salman Khan plays Colonel Bikkumalla Santosh Babu in the movie, a role that Indian media said attracted Bollywood's attention due to his alleged crucial part in the 2020 Galwan Valley conflict. Bollywood films, at most, offer an emotionally charged and entertaining picture, but no amount of cinematic exaggeration can change history or undermine the PLA's resolve to protect China's sovereign land, according to a Chinese scholar on Monday. The Hindustan Times reported on Sunday that the trailer opens with Salman's voice giving a speech while instructing his soldiers on how to combat the "enemy." He is then shown in the video approaching the "enemy," with his soldiers standing next to him. He is then shown clinging to a stick while the "enemy" rushes in their direction. Salman's character strikes someone with the stick as the video comes to a close. On the other hand, some online users questioned whether the movie had imitated a sequence from Game of Thrones. The movie has also sparked additional controversy on the internet, with users pointing to things like extras' outfits and looks, actors' hairstyles that don't fit their military roles or the storyline's suggestion of extreme cold, and—most importantly—a depiction of events that isn't true. About 200 Indian soldiers valiantly defended their land against a force of 1,200 Chinese soldiers on June 15, 2020, according to certain local media, notably India Today, which has promoted the movie as being based on the events that occurred between Indian and Chinese troops in the Galwan region.

Despite Ranveer Singh's apologies, a second complaint was made against him for imitating daivas and offending the Tulu community's sacred feelings by discussing Rishab Shetty's Kantara.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was accused of violating the Tulu customary spirit-worship depicted in Rishab Shetty's Kantara flicks, according to a complaint filed by Bengaluru-based High Court counsel Prashanth Methal. This is the second complaint made against the actor, who in this case expressed regret. Also Read: Rishab Shetty had discouraged Ranveer Singh against copying Daivas before he did it on the stage at IFFI.The Hindu also stated that counsel Prashanth Methal submitted a formal complaint at the High Grounds Police Station alleging that the actor had mocked the revered daiva custom during the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) closing ceremony in Goa on November 28.The complaint furthered claimed that Ranveer had done a parody of the Panjuluri/Guliga daiva who is worshipped in the coastal Karnataka region. The counsel was also cited noting that the performance was nasty, insulting, and hilarious and a huge source of injury to the Hindu feelings particularly among the Tulu population. The complaint additionally alleged that the Ranveer dubbed the daiva a female spirit, which the advocate regarded to as blasphemous and had been purposefully disrespectful. He instructed the police to start prosecuting Ranveer.Ranveer has responded by apologising to the netizens on social media, after a series of criticisms on the internet after the viral video of him copying the daivas. “My intention was to highlight Rishab's incredible performance in the film. Actor to actor, I know how much it would take to perform that particular sequence in the way that he did, for which he has my utmost admiration,” he wrote. In addition, Ranveer apologised for hurting people's feelings and said, "I have always deeply respected every culture, tradition, and belief in our country." If I've harmed anyone's sensibilities, I genuinely apologise.” The behaviour that disrespected the Tulu community happened when Ranveer went to meet with Rishab at the closing ceremony of IFFi, and replicated the daivas although the Kannada actor urged him not to.

Asrani performed in over 300 films during the course of a career that lasted more than 50 years, the majority of them were comedic. He played an eccentric jailer in the 1975 hit Sholay, which stands out as one of his most memorable roles."Asrani ji, the person who made everyone smile, is no longer with us. In a statement shared on the actor's social media accounts, his family wrote, "His passing is an irreparable loss for both Hindi cinema and our hearts." On Monday, family members and close friends attended the performance of his last rites. Asrani was referred to as a "versatile artist" and "gifted entertainer" by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi."In particular, his remarkable performances brought laughter and joy to innumerable lives. Modi commented on X, "His contribution to Indian cinema will always be cherished." Asrani was born in 1941 in Rajasthan, a state in western India. In the 1960s, he studied acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) after starting his career as a voice actor at the state-run All India Radio. Although he made his Hindi cinema debut in 1967, he gained global recognition for his role as a clumsy jailer in the 1975 film Sholay, which was intended to be a caricature of Adolf Hitler.Earlier this year, Asrani recounted his preparation for the part in an interview with BBC Hindi. He stated that the jailer "thinks he is very smart but isn't," according to the film's director Ramesh Sippy and writer Salim-Javed. In the 1980s and 1990s, Asrani was frequently featured on television programs that were broadcast on Doordarshan, the state broadcaster. In the 1980s hit series Natkhat Narad, he portrayed the Hindu scholar Narad Muni. In addition, he directed a number of Gujarati and Hindi movies. From subtle situational humor to overblown performances, the actor became linked with comedic roles in popular movies. However, he thought he was more than a comedian.

After Nitish Bharadwaj, Pankaj Dheer was the most attractive male on the set. I would text him and refer to him as "my most handsome friend." 'Handsome' was a term he was aware of. Twenty-seven Maoists in Sukma, Chhattisgarh, surrender

According to the police, up to 27 active Maoists with a combined reward of ₹50 lakh turned themselves in to the Sukma district on Wednesday, October 15, 2025.This comes a day after 60 other cadres and senior Naxalite Mallojula Venugopal Rao, also known as Bhupathi, surrendered in the Gadchiroli district of Maharashtra. The government's determination to abolish Naxalism, which is mostly centered in the Bastar area of Chhattisgarh, by March 31, 2026, has been emphasized by Union Home Minister Amit Shah.Ten women were among the 27 Naxalites who gave up in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday. They surrendered in front of Central Reserve Police Force officials and top police officers. The Union Budget 2024 may see the government loosen the 45-day payment restriction for MSMEs.

The Union Budget 2024 may see the government loosen the 45-day payment restriction for MSMEs.

According to insiders, the government may decide to loosen the rule requiring MSMEs to be paid for goods and services within 45 days of the purchase in order to deter big corporations from exploring alternative sources of funding This could be announced in the budget, which is expected to be delivered on July 23.Overview. The government is thinking about easing the 45-day payment deadline for MSMEs in an effort to keep big businesses from looking for alternative suppliers. It is possible that this modification to Section 43B(h) of the Income Tax Act would be disclosed in the forthcoming July 23 Budget. As per the Finance Act 2023's introduction of Section 43B(h) of the Income Tax Act, a larger company may face greater taxes if it fails to pay an MSME within the stipulated timeframe of 45 days for written agreements. This is because the firm cannot deduct the payment from its taxable income. The amendment was introduced to allow MSMEs to receive payments on time, but many of them expressed fear, according to sources. They said they were afraid that large corporations might ask their vendors to give up their MSME registration in order to do business with them, or they might shift their sourcing requirements to larger firms in an effort to protect their interests.

When you chew a piece of ginger every day for sixty days, your body experiences this.

Strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties can be found in ginger. However, what would happen if a person chewed a piece of ginger every day for sixty days? When we asked Dr. Amreen Sheikh, chief nutritionist at KIMS Hospitals, Thane, about it, he replied that it increases circulation, relaxes the airways, and progressively lessens throat inflammation. Many patients report decreased bloating, improved digestion, and fewer coughs after six to eight weeks. Ginger can ease the inner lining of the airways and provide general lung comfort for people who are susceptible to seasonal respiratory symptoms, according to Sheikh.Yes, but with reasonable expectations, Sheikh argued. Unlike medication, ginger does not "open the lungs." Rather, it operates subtly. It can aid those who frequently experience irritation from pollutants, relieve moderate wheezing from cold weather, and clear congestion in the throat. Additionally, by loosening mucus, its warming impact facilitates its expulsion during an illness. Ginger can help with long-term lung conditions like COPD or asthma, but it should never take the place of prescription medication, Sheikh said. While using ginger on a daily basis is generally safe, Sheikh pointed out that excessive use can cause oral irritation, cause acidity in those who are sensitive, or slightly thin the blood. Before developing a habit, people who take blood thinners or have gastritis or acid reflux should speak with a doctor. A tiny portion is more than sufficient; moderation is crucial," Sheikh stated.

"The CDSCO has not participated in any of Sresan Pharma's audits. This company was not included in any of the CDSCO databases since the CDSCO was not involved and the state FDA did not provide the CDSCO with any information on it, according to a source.Rule 84AB of the D and C Rules mandates that manufacturers update all of their certified items on the "Sugam" site, according to another source at the CDSCO.In order to facilitate improved monitoring, the regulation was notified to create a national database of all the authorized items in the nation. Why it's never a good idea to do a DIY chemical peel

Why it's never a good idea to do a DIY chemical peel

People all over the world are enamored with the idea of having flawlessly clear skin, whether they have glazed or glass skin. They are using expert treatments, such as wine baths and salmon sperm facials, in addition to skincare and makeup to reach their goals. In recent years, chemical peels have been increasingly popular among these. However, as members of the social media generation, it appears like there is a do-it-yourself solution for practically anything. By combining various acids, many people have even begun trying chemical peels at home.Even while your nani-dadi ke nuskhe were safe enough to try at home, trying a chemical peel is a very different matter and might cause significant skin damage. But first, comprehend...According to Dr. Ruben Bhasin Passi, dermatology consultant at CK Birla Hospital in Gurugram, "Chemical peels are skin treatments that use acid-based solutions to exfoliate the outer layers of the skin," India Today reports. According to her, these treatments function by encouraging cell turnover, breaking down dead skin cells, and boosting the creation of collagen.Peels can treat problems like acne, hyperpigmentation, fine wrinkles, and uneven texture, depending on their strength (light, medium, or deep). "While deeper peels like trichloroacetic acid penetrate deeper for more dramatic results, light peels like alpha-hydroxy acids target the epidermis," Dr. Passi continues.Additionally, according to Dr. Shifa Yadav, dermatology and cosmetology consultant at Artemis Hospitals in Gurugram, this procedure aids in the skin's regeneration of new, healthier cells, giving it a smoother, more even complexion. It is frequently used in skin care clinics to improve the appearance and feel of skin, but in order to prevent irritation or injury, it must be applied and maintained properly.Even though experimenting with at-home hacks can be enjoyable, practical, and even economical, it's crucial to keep in mind that not all conditions can be safely treated using do-it-yourself methods. To prevent long-term damage, certain beauty procedures—particularly those involving potent chemicals—require professional knowledge and expertise.According to Dr. Vidushi Jain, medical head of Dermalinks in Delhi-NCR, homemade peels frequently employ the incorrect acid concentrations without taking the safety of the skin into account. They lack the professional followup that such procedures require, which can lead to burns, infections, uneven pigmentation, and delayed healing. "Many kits have strong acids like TCA or glycolic acid that can harm the skin," says Dr. Yadav.

As regional tensions rise, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan sign a mutual defense treaty.

In the face of increased regional tensions, Saudi Arabia and nuclear-armed Pakistan have formally inked a mutual defense pact, a step that greatly fortifies a decades-long security cooperation. The improved defense relations coincide with Gulf Arab nations' growing skepticism about the US's capacity to uphold their long-standing security guarantee, which was exacerbated by Israel's attack in Qatar last week. When questioned about the timing of the deal, a senior Saudi official stated, "This agreement is the result of years of discussions." "This is an institutionalization of long-standing and profound cooperation between our two countries, not a reaction to particular nations or events." Arab nations were incensed when Israel attempted to murder Hamas leadership officials in Doha with airstrikes while they were debating a ceasefire proposal that Qatar is mediating. In a complicated region, the agreement on Wednesday may change the strategic equation. In an effort to address long-standing security concerns, Washington's allies, the Gulf monarchs, have worked to stabilize their relations with Israel and Iran. However, the war in Gaza has completely upended the area, and twice in a single year, Israel and Iran have directly attacked the Gulf state of Qatar. Speaking under anonymity, the top Saudi official agreed that relations with India, Pakistan's competitor and another nuclear-armed state, must be balanced."We have a stronger relationship with India than we have ever had. We shall keep strengthening our bond and do everything in our power to promote regional harmony. The official responded, "This is a comprehensive defensive agreement that encompasses all military means," when asked if Pakistan would be required to give Saudi Arabia a nuclear umbrella under the accord. After signing the deal, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the de facto ruler of the kingdom, and Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif were seen embracing on public television. Field Marshal Asim Munir, the head of Pakistan's army and considered the most powerful individual in the nation, was present."This agreement, which reflects the shared commitment of both nations to enhance their security and to achieving security and peace in the region and the world, aims to develop aspects of defense cooperation between the two countries and strengthen joint deterrence against any aggression," read a statement from the office of the prime minister of Pakistan. "Any aggression against one of the countries will be deemed an aggression against both, according to the agreement."

An Overview of the UPSC Issue | SCO Summit 2025 and India: Four Crucial Questions for Prelims and Mains

An Overview of the UPSC Issue | SCO Summit 2025 and India: Four Crucial Questions for Prelims and Mains

By scheduling two significant events in one week—the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit in the northeastern city of Tianjin and a Victory Day parade in Beijing's Tiananmen Square commemorating the 80th anniversary of the end of World War II—Beijing has entered diplomatic high season as summer draws to a close. It's difficult to overlook the symbolism. The events convey a clear message: in contrast to the Western narrative of a free international order led by the United States, China is positioning itself as the standard-bearer of a multipolar world dominated by the Global South. Both occasions are expertly produced political plays that combine military prowess, diplomatic posture, and historical narrative. Additionally, China has two audiences in mind: it wants to project power and influence in its neighborhood and beyond while simultaneously boosting domestic public morale. For a long time, Chinese strategists have emphasized that the goal of foreign policy is to establish an external environment that supports economic growth at home. Originating with previous Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping, this core idea has evolved into the current leadership's catchphrase for negotiating a turbulent global landscape. The two events' participating nations attest to China's continued strategic emphasis on Asia. The majority of major Asian nations are represented among the more than 30 heads of state and international organizations taking part, with the notable exception of Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and the Philippines—all of whom are strong security partners of the United States.

Chinese Envoy: U.S. Tariffs Threaten Stability, Demand Response

In a recent address, China's Ambassador to the United States warned that remaining silent in the face of increasing U.S. tariffs would only encourage further pressure. The statement comes amid growing tensions over trade policies, with the U.S. implementing new tariffs on Chinese goods in what it says is a response to unfair trade practices and national security concerns. The ambassador urged dialogue and mutual respect, emphasizing that cooperation, rather than confrontation, benefits both nations. He suggested that escalating trade barriers harm not just the economies involved but also global supply chains and ordinary consumers who bear the cost of such measures. While the U.S. maintains that its tariffs are necessary to protect domestic industries and maintain fair competition, Chinese officials argue that these steps are politically motivated and harmful to long-term stability. The ambassador's remarks appear to reflect a broader effort by China to rally international support against what it views as economic coercion. As both countries continue to shape global economic trends, the tone and direction of their engagement will have wide-reaching implications—not only for governments and businesses but for millions of people whose daily lives are touched by the trade between the two powers.

West spoiled our image, Indians should come and see the real Iran

"Dr. Iraj Elahi, the Iranian ambassador to New Delhi, claims in an exclusive interview with India Today that the goal of the visa cancellation program for 33 nations is to correct the false impression that Iran has in the eyes of the international community. Briefly, earlier this month, Iran declared that 33 nations will be allowed entrance without a visa. Iran's ambassador to New Delhi, Dr. Iraj Elahi, claims that the action is intended to correct false impressions about Iran. ""Every tourist who visits Iran will discover that the country is very different from how it is portrayed in the Western media,"" asserts Dr. Elahi. Iran declared earlier this month that Indian passport holders will no longer need a visa to enter the Islamic Republic. As a result, the long-standing friendship between Iran and India is about to enter a new chapter, with Iran considering accepting Indian tourists and resolving travel-related issues. Dr. Iraj Elahi, the Iranian ambassador to New Delhi, claims in an exclusive interview with India Today that the goal of the visa cancellation program for 33 nations is to correct the false impression that Iran has in the eyes of the international community. Earlier, Indian passport holders could enter Iran without a visa. For what reason was it put on hold? We think that Iran and India's longstanding friendship will be strengthened and heightened by the removal of visa requirements between the two countries. Regretfully, a false impression of Iran has been broadcast by Western media in recent years. To make it easier for individuals from all over the world to visit Iran and witness its reality, 33 nations have cancelled their visa requirements. Every traveler to Iran, we think, will find the nation to be substantially different from what is depicted in the Western media. How does Iran intend to increase travel, particularly for Indian tourists? Iran is ranked in the top ten countries for potential to draw foreign tourists and among the top five countries in the world for cultural assets, according to a 2007 UNESCO survey. Understanding this enormous potential, the Iranian government has recently committed large sums of money to building hotels and other lodging facilities as well as promoting travel. Iran is a desirable travel destination for Indian travelers. "

Sri Lanka terminates long-stay visas for Russians and Ukrainians amid criticism of a whites only policy

He mentioned that after speaking with the immigration agency, raids were carried out. According to officials, hundreds of Russians and Ukrainians who were in Sri Lanka owing to the turmoil in Ukraine and had extended visas that had expired were told to leave the country within two weeks. The action was taken in response to social media criticism against Russian-run companies that were involved in illegal activity and were imposing a ""whites only"" policy that prevented locals from entering. According to officials cited by news agency PTI, immigration authorities have notified Sri Lanka's Tourism Ministry that visitors from Russia and Ukraine must depart the country within two weeks beginning on February 23 due to the expiration of their visas. The Sri Lankan Ministry of Tourism disclosed that it had been notified of complaints regarding Russians and Ukrainians staying longer in Sri Lanka and setting up bars and eateries. They are accused of using non-local payment methods and hiring foreign workers in order to get around domestic systems. The Daily Mirror was notified by Sri Lanka's Minister of Tourism Harin Fernando of complaints received regarding several Russians running unlicensed businesses in the country's south. He mentioned that, according to an international magazine, raids were carried out after discussions with the immigration department. The President's Media division stated that PTI revealed that the government of Sri Lanka has not formally decided to withdraw the visa extensions given to visitors from Russia and Ukraine. Sri Lanka, which is experiencing its worst economic crisis since 2022, introduced visa-on-arrival for 30 days and permitted extensions of up to six months in an effort to boost the tourism industry, according to The Independent. Following the confrontation between the two European countries in February 2022, many Russian and Ukrainian travelers were allowed to stay in Sri Lanka. Since then, over 300,000 Russians and 20,000 Ukrainians have visited the island, according to official figures. But the exact number of Russians and Ukrainians staying in Sri Lanka on long-term visas is still unknown. "

"When these two teams last faced off in a derby, it was on February 3rd, and both teams left with a point after a draw. In a statement, Mohun Bagan remarked, ""This is shameful."" ""We have decided that we will not purchase or sell any tickets for the ISL derby between Mohun Bagan Super Giant and East Bengal Club. We vehemently condemn the unsportsmanlike behavior of East Bengal."" This correspondence might be interpreted as an official request for us to boycott the impending derby, the announcement continued. How does East Bengal react? Debabrata Sarkar, an executive committee member from East Bengal, called the situation ""sad"" and promised to make sure it doesn't happen again in the future. Emami, the major owners, sets the ticket prices. It's a terrible circumstance, and hopefully it won't occur again. Nothing can be done as of right now, even though I've spoken to the minister of sports,"" Sarkar stated, as reported by PTI. What transpired during the derby match between the last two teams? When these two teams last faced off in a derby, it was on February 3rd, and both teams left with a point after a draw. Paul Pogba vows to appeal against doping ban in CAS Sad, shocked and heartbroken

Paul Pogba vows to appeal against doping ban in CAS Sad, shocked and heartbroken

"Shortly after testing positive for doping, Paul Pogba, a football player, was banned by Italy's NADA for four years. France's FIFA World Cup victor has sworn to take the ruling to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, or CAS. To put it briefly, Paul Pogba has been suspended from football due to drug violations. Paul Pogba has promised to challenge the ruling before CAS. Pogba is thirty years old right now. Legendary French football player Paul Pogba received a four-year suspension after testing positive for doping in 2023. The Italian Anti-Doping Tribunal (NADO Italia) suspended Pogba on Thursday, February 29, after he tested positive for a chemical that was prohibited and used back in 2023. Pogba is the FIFA World Cup winner. Pogba has pledged to challenge the ban to the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS), emphasizing his innocence and the fact that he had never used any drug that would be considered doping with knowledge. Hours after being banned by the authorities, Pogba uploaded a post to Instagram in which he claimed that all he had worked so hard to achieve during his football career was being taken away from him. ""I am of the opinion that the Tribunale Nazionale Antidoping rendered an improper ruling, having learned of it today. Pogba posted on his Instagram account, ""I am sad, shocked, and heartbroken that everything I have built in my professional playing career has been taken away from me."" The Italian national anti-doping tribunal (NADO Italia) first suspended Pogba in September 2023 after he tested positive for the drug testosterone, which is prohibited. The test was conducted following Juve's 3-0 victory at Udinese in the Serie A season opener on August 20. Test results revealed the presence of testosterone, a hormone that boosts endurance in athletes. In that match, the 30-year-old was not utilized as a replacement. In October, a counter-analysis conducted on a second sample verified Pogba's adverse drug test results. ""The complete picture will become evident once I am no longer subject to legal constraints, but I have never purposefully or intentionally used any substances that are against anti-doping laws. ""As a professional athlete, I have never used prohibited substances to improve my performance and have never shown disrespect or deceit towards fellow athletes or the supporters of the teams I have played for or against,"" emphasized the football player. ""As a consequence of the decision announced today I will appeal this before the Court of Arbitration for Sport,"" he said."

OYO To Launch 13 Self-Operated Hotels Under Premium Brand ‘Palette’ This Year

"SUMMARY Using a format akin to OYO Rooms, the business plans to open Gujarat's Morbi as the first independently run location under the ""Palette"" brand. Last year, Oravel Stays introduced ten hotels under the Palette brand as part of a test program in cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Jaipur. OYO CEO Ritesh Aggarwal said last month that the company has doubled its PAT to INR 30 Cr in Q3 FY24, marking the second consecutive profitable quarter for the firm. By the end of this year, parent company Oravel Stays, a prominent player in the hospitality industry, plans to launch 13 independently run hotels under the upscale ""Palette"" brand. The business said in a statement on Thursday (March 7) that it will launch the concept by building a Palette hotel in Morbi, Gujarat, replicating an OYO Rooms model.  By the end of this year, Oravel Stays, the parent company of Oyo, a significant player in the hospitality industry, wants to open 13 upscale hotels under the Palette brand. The business established ten Palette resorts in Jaipur, Hyderabad, Digha, Mumbai, Chennai, Manesar, and Bengaluru as part of a pilot program last year. With this, there will be 23 hotels operating under the Palette brand overall. Similar to Oyo's hotels, the Palette hotels will run on a ""self-operated"" model. As a result, the corporation won't need to invest much capital in this move. This will be the company's reintroduction of its self-operated concept, which it abandoned in 2020. The company added that it will assume direct operational control of a few Palette hotels in high-growth and potential regions in order to guarantee improved guest experience and service delivery. Morbi, dubbed the city of ceramics in India, is a major economic center in Gujarat, according to Oravel Stays. Ninety percent of India's tile output is produced in the district, which is home to around 800 tile factories with an annual revenue of roughly Rs 50,000 crore. We can't wait to open our first independently run Palette hotel in Gujarat, and Morbi is the ideal place to do it. Morbi is a significant market for us because of its thriving economy and expanding commercial prospects, according to Aditya Sharma, commercial Head, Oravel Stays."

Shaadi.coms Anupam Mittal pleads with FM Sitharaman to ease KYC paperwork.

"Anupam Mittal, the creator of Shaadi.com, requested the Finance Ministry's help in streamlining the know-your-customer (KYC) documentation process for startups and angel investors, citing his concerns about the drawn-out and tiresome procedure. The Shark Tank India judge emphasized the importance of enacting laws that create an atmosphere that is favorable for Indian companies in his most recent article on X. The Income Tax Department responded to Anupam Mittal's post on X by asking him to send a letter containing a specific concern or question to the department so that the relevant personnel might ""get in touch"" with him. Even as we speak of being a startup nation, we require policymaking that is progressive. Every year, instead of concentrating on creating amazing businesses, the team spends an excessive amount of time providing KYC information to startups, who then work with several angel investors to get the paperwork submitted with @IncomeTaxIndia. ""Why is this harassment happening?,"" Anupam Mittal posted on X, tagging Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and the Income Tax Department. Additionally, Mittal emphasized that extensive documentation is not necessary because the Income Tax department already has all the information on the majority of registered investors. Mittal commented, ""Madamji dekhiye pls, it's an unnecessary waste of time that sucks up countless unproductive hours of our time,"" tagging Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's official X accounts. brightest in the nation at @PMOIndia. "Please write to us with your specific issue/query (along with PAN & your mobile number) via email at orm@cpc.incometax.gov.in so that our team can get in touch with you,"" the IT department said in response to the founder of Shaadi.com's post. Fintech and startups facing KYC issues In response to the I-T department's statement, Mittal stated that his primary concern was the cumbersome process of completing KYC documentation with the I-T department, without highlighting a single problem. The founder of Shaadi.com made these remarks about onerous KYC paperwork at a time when Paytm Payments Bank is being investigated by the Reserve Bank of India for a number of reasons, including complaints about procedural errors in its KYC system. Recently, Nirmala Sitharaman chaired a meeting with start-up and fintech ecosystem organizations to address the digitization and simplification of KYC across all fintech segments. The cost of lending for important locations, ownership and control changes for fintech companies that are listed to help them comply with regulations, and cybercrime concerns were among the other topics covered in the conference."

Luminous Power Technologies puts the spotlight on #WomenInEnergy

Luminous Power Technologies puts the spotlight on #WomenInEnergy

In honor of International Women's Day, Luminous Power Technologies today released a digital short as part of their motivational campaign, #WomenInEnergy. The video, which is told from the perspective of a kid, masterfully depicts the prejudices and stereotypes that are pervasive in society regarding women in particular domestic contexts, such as a home terrace. Now in its second year, Luminous' #WomenInEnergy campaign seeks to inspire a better future for future generations while challenging gender preconceptions and biases that currently exist in the energy sector. The video, which was conceived by Autumn Grey, focuses on the routine domestic tasks that get accepted because they are only performed by female family members. With a small child watching his mother go about her daily business on the patio, In the film, those being taken up by other family members are beautifully shown, and the mother's role as a solar technician under the Luminous training program is shown. In this story, a boy challenges the idea of bias by judging his mother's worth by the labor she does on their terrace. Recognized for its creative energy solutions, the brand breaks beyond apparent bias to deliver a unique message. The idea of the IWD video was discussed by Neelima Burra, Chief Strategy Transformation and Marketing Officer of Luminous Power Technologies. She stated, "Although society has made significant progress and moved the needle for women in certain professions, there is still a lot to be addressed." Our movie emphasizes the need to change people's perspectives to embrace gender-neutral roles and provide everyone the same opportunity. Even if women have all the qualifications needed to work in the energy sector, they are nevertheless perceived as having a disproportionate number of men in technician positions. This movie will encourage viewers to reflect and alter their viewpoints. To hasten the nation's energy transition and promote the installation of solar PV rooftops, we must capitalize on the talent of women. The goal of our campaign, #WomenInEnergy, is to change people's perceptions and make careers for women in fields like solar technician practical and appealing. Luminous Power Technologies' chief human resource officer, Shikha Gupta, "The purpose of this film is to inspire viewers to think of traditionally male-dominated professions as safe and growth-oriented environments for women as well, such as solar technician." This movie offers a comprehensive message about the value of family support, which is the cornerstone for empowering women in non-traditional roles. When attitudes shift and everyone in the family assumes more responsibility for the home, closing the current gender gap will actually happen.

Shoppers Stop empowers women to embrace their choices fearlessly with #Don’tStop campaign

Shoppers Stop empowers women to embrace their choices fearlessly with #Don’tStop campaign

"Shoppers Stop launched the #Don'tStop campaign, which was created by Makani Creatives, in honor of Women's Day. The initiative aims to eliminate the biases and social pressures that women experience in the fields of fashion and beauty. Because of the unattainable standards that society has established, women—who are frequently the targets of unrelenting scrutiny and judgment—find themselves doubting their decisions and lacking confidence. The #Don'tStop campaign exhorts women to not hold back and to bravely embrace their choices. In the video, a girl receives criticism for being judged as ""Too Flashy,"" ""Too Bold,"" ""Too Revealing,"" ""Too Tight,"" ""Too Wild,"" and ""Too Fake,"" which is a reflection of the judgment many women face in all spheres of life. This realization served as the basis for Shoppers Stop's campaign, which encourages women to live freely and openly, without fear of repercussion. Women are frequently told what to dress, how to look, and how to portray themselves in society. #DontStop encourages women to reject these expectations and embrace their individuality. As longtime creative partners of Shoppers Stop, Sameer Makani, co-founder of Makani Creatives, commented on the campaign, saying, ""We wanted this topical campaign to authentically reflect the brand's ethos."" Our inspiration came from fashion, which is one of the most potent mediums for expressing oneself. The campaign is a powerful reminder to ignore unfavorable remarks and make decisions that suit one's comfort level and own preferences. ""We were struck by the power of simplicity in the storytelling and yet the impact it had on every woman in the room when team Makani presented the idea,"" Shwetal Basu, chief marketing and communication officer at Shoppers Stop and customer service associate, continued. It strikingly conveys the idea that, as a company, we are ardent supporters of self-assurance, tenacity, and inclusivity, opening doors for each and every woman to embrace her personal style."" The goal of the campaign film is to support women's uniqueness and give them the freedom to live boldly without fear of criticism or judgment."
