Special Judge Arun Bhardwaj will take over as the Registrar General on May 1, 2025, while Special Judge Kaveri Baweja has been named the next Registrar (Vigilance) in a major administrative reorganization within the Delhi High Court. The Delhi excise policy case, the 1984 anti-Sikh riots, and cases related to the 2020 Northeast Delhi riots are just a few of the well-known cases that Judge Baweja has presided over. Her nomination demonstrates the court's focus on judicial integrity and experience while managing vigilance cases. In addition to hearing just coal scam cases, Judge Bhardwaj will assume an equally important administrative position at the court.

Position of Judge Arun Bhardwaj New Role: On May 1, 2025, I will take over as the Delhi High Court's Registrar General. Present Position: Principal District & Sessions Judge-cum-Special Judge (PC Act) (CBI) is the position currently held. Prior Contributions: renowned for only considering cases pertaining to the coal "scam," which makes him a reliable judge in delicate circumstances. Administrative Designation: Deputation-based appointment as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) who will support the present Registrar General until he assumes leadership.
