With every stage of the big Indian democracy festival coming to an end and the finish line nearly in sight, the nation's most crucial question is becoming more and more relevant with each day: What will happen on June 4?The India poll storyline is dominated by a number of related talking topics and problems in addition to the fundamental question of who will win the big race.
Is 400-paar merely electioneering speak, or is India really prepared to grant an outright majority to a single regime? Or, as some pollsters have predicted, will the Indian voter want a mandate change this time and try out a new political system? If the INDIA group is victorious and provides the nation with a credible long-term political option, will it be able to maintain its unity or will it crumble at the first sign of a coalition challenge due to conflicting interests and ideologies? Not to mention, would PM Modi be able to keep all of his much-vaunted promises in the event that the BJP wins? What matters more is who will be his deserving successor. The 2024 election will be one of the most closely followed in history, both domestically and internationally, because of some of these issues. The ET Online Elections Survey aims to address some of these important concerns and assess popular sentiment. However, the survey is only research-related and does not reflect a viewpoint.
