Azimul Haque, an IAS official, has been appointed CEO of the Delhi Waqf Board by Lieutenant Governor (L-G) V.K. Saxena. A month later, a proposal for an extra price was sent. L-G emphasized how important it is to strictly follow the law.Laws Concerning Appointments The Board is required to suggest a panel of two persons to the state government in accordance with Section 23 of the Delhi Waqf Act, 1995. Bypassing the necessary process, the National Capital Civil Service Authority (NCCSA) merely submitted one name for L-G's consideration. The Directives of L-G Before going into effect, the Waqf Board must approve the proposed appointment. Legal standards must be met by any future proposals.
