Congress Has Completed AAP-Seat Share Speed Run Agreement

According to sources who spoke to NDTV on Friday afternoon, the Congress and the Aam Aadmi Party, who this week produced the INDIA bloc's first electoral victory in the Chandigarh mayoral election, have finalized seat-share agreements for the Lok Sabha elections in Delhi, Gujarat, Goa, and Haryana.
The specifics will be disclosed during a press conference later today, but it is believed that the members of the INDIA bloc have decided to divide Delhi's seven seats four ways to three.

According to sources, the AAP will run candidates in East, West, and South Delhi in addition to New Delhi, while the Congress will run candidates in Chandi Chowk, North West, and North East Delhi.A deal for Goa, Chandigarh, Gujarat, and Haryana was also reportedly reached, according to reports that NDTV received hours later. Two seats in Gujarat and one each in Chandigarh and Haryana are reportedly included in the agreement.As of right now, the AAP was expected to run for two seats in Gujarat, the home state of Prime Minister Narendra Modi; the Congress was expected to win Chandigarh's lone Lok Sabha seat as well as the seat in South Goa; and the AAP was expected to win at least one seat in Haryana.
