At the 2024 PCAs, Sydney Sweeney didn need much to draw attention.

On the red carpet, making a style statement might not be as simple as it seems. Celebrities frequently go to extreme lengths to create an impression, dressing in dynamic gowns and creating mind-bending optical illusions. Few people can pull off an effortlessly stylish look while drawing attention from everyone in the room. Included in them was Count Sydney Sweeney. With her movie co-star Glen Powell by her side, the Anyone But You actress attended the People's Choice Awards 2024 on Sunday night. Although their on-screen chemistry generated a lot of excitement when the film first came out, her red carpet look was what stole the show at this event. Sydney Sweeney attended the awards ceremony wearing a rich crimson custom-made Monot gown. The bustier was wired, and the narrow straps dropped to reveal a plunging neckline. The all-black garment hugged her curves in a form-fitting silhouette until it revealed a slit at the back of the length at the ankle. Her gown was accessorized with satin strap heels, finger rings, and earrings; after all, a look like that really didn't need anything more.Sydney wore her blond hair, which was ombre in tone, parted down the middle and falling in big waves down her back. Her stunning red gown looked stunning with her smokey eyes, which she accessorized with a nude lip and bronzed cheeks.Sydney Sweeney is obviously partial to a little red dress, and we're not at all upset about that.

Australias Glenn Maxwell was hospitalized

"Although Glenn Maxwell is an essential component of Australia's white-ball team, head coach Andrew McDonald stated that he needs to ""hold up his end of the bargain"" in light of his ""less than ideal"" Adelaide incident. Maxwell was admitted to the Adelaide hospital last week after becoming intoxicated and passing out at a ""Six and Out"" concert, which featured former Australian pacer Brett Lee. He wasn't kept in the hospital for long and was discharged soon after and is now back in training.  I spoke with Glenn and we had a nice conversation about the incident yesterday. Moving forward, it needs to be taken into account that he takes care of himself,"" McDonald was cited as telling the Sydney Evening News. ""We've given him the opportunity to rest and rehab in that period of time and I suppose the lessons for him around that would be to take up his end of the bargain in that space and take care of himself."" Maxwell was rested for next month's three-match ODI series against the West Indies at home and he took the opportunity to attend a golf event in Adelaide before the incident took place."Glenn Maxwell should play cricket for Australia for the next three to four years, in our opinion. Is he going to be able to attend the 2027 World Cup in South Africa? Who knows? However, he's an important member of our white-ball teams," McDonald remarked.   "We're a much better team when he plays, and because of the terrible injury he sustained, some management measures will be implemented around him.   But for as long as possible, we want Glenn Maxwell to play for Australia. We're going to have to do our end, and Glenn is no doubt going to have to hold up his end of the bargain." This is not Maxwell's first experience.Maxwell was sidelined for months by this for the Australian team. In a bizarre accident that occurred in November of last year, he also suffered bruises and head injuries after falling from the back of a golf cart.   "From his and our perspectives, it's not ideal that the night ended the way it did, given all the information he's provided and the fact that he's had a few drinks. It's a sincere error," McDonald remarked.   "Of course, he needs to examine what he's doing on his end and determine whether it's the appropriate course of action at that particular moment. Fortunately, it doesn't cause any harm. He is now well." Maxwell has not yet participated in a limited-overs cricket match for Australia since his team's November return from India.Following his performance as the third-highest run scorer for Australia in the record-tying sixth edition of the ODI World Cup in India, Maxwell took part in a three-match T20I series in India and then played in the Big Bash League.   He ended as the Stars' second-highest run scorer, and starting on February 9, the West Indies T20Is are expected to see him maintain his impressive form.

On the controversy surrounding the Melbourne concert, Neha Kakkar breaks her silence, saying, "Performed Absolutely Free, Organisers Ran Away."

Finally addressing the controversy surrounding her Melbourne show, singer Neha Kakkar has disclosed the specifics of what transpired that day. When Neha came three hours late for her Melbourne show, the irate audience jeered her and told her to leave. She broke down on stage and apologized to the audience in a video that went viral. Neha has now disclosed that her band was not given access to basic amenities like food, lodging, or water, and that the organizers fled without being paid. She claimed that because her fans were waiting for her, they nevertheless went on stage for the performance in spite of everything. Neha revealed that she didn't even know the concert was going since the organizers stopped returning her managers' calls, and that the sound check was also postponed because the vendor wasn't paid. Neha Kakkar finally spoke out about the situation in a recent Instagram post, writing, "They said she came three hours late. Did they even ask once what happened to her, what did they do to her and her band? I didn't even tell anyone what had happened to us when I talked on stage because I didn't want anyone to be hurt because I'm not the one who should punish people, but now that it's in my name, I had to speak up. Here it is, then.Neha went on, "Are you all aware that I gave my Melbourne audience a completely free performance? My money and others were stolen by the organizers. My band didn't even receive water, food, or lodging. My spouse went with his boys to feed them.

Meg Lanning,I Don Like the Word Retirement

Meg Lanning, a former captain of Australia, is content to be in her "quiet" space and pursue her passion for franchise-based cricket worldwide, including the Women's Premier League, even though she dislikes the word "retirement". In November of last year, Lanning—who has amassed 3405 runs in 132 T20I matches—announced her retirement from international cricket. Last year, she capably guided the Delhi Capitals in the first-ever WPL, finishing as the competition's top scorer with 345 runs from nine games. In the championship match, the Mumbai Indians defeated the Capitals by a seven-wicket margin. The 31-year-old batter stated in a DC press release, "I don't like the word retirement, but it's been nice to be a little bit quiet, spend time at home, and play some cricket here and there." "I still love playing, and I've been looking forward to the WPL, so really excited and hopefully can help Delhi win the title this year." Lanning, who joined the team over the weekend and had her first training session with DC in Bengaluru, talked highly of the first WPL season and expressed her hope that the next one would be even better. "Getting outside and taking a little romp around is pleasant. Everyone appears to be in excellent shape. Everyone has made a lot of progress, and I'm really looking forward to what we can create this year," she remarked. That was a great time last year. I'm excited to bat first this year again with Shafali (Varma), as it was a lot of fun last time.We all got along well as a group, I believe. We seemed to be able to come together as a group, which made it easy and enjoyable to hang out both on and off the field. This year will probably be pretty much the same." DC will play the reigning champions in the opening game of the 2024 WPL season.

Warner smashed 81 off 49 deliveries in his last innings at home, including 54 runs. Announcing a move away from the traditional format, the southpaw said earlier this year that he would be available in T20Is and T20 leagues around the world. Warner, who has amassed 3,067 runs in 102 T20Is, is part of the T20 squad that will tour New Zealand later this month. Rohan Bopanna, who won the Australian Open, is focused on the Olympics in Paris.

Following his first-ever grand slam victory in men's doubles at the Australian Open, Rohan Bopanna, the current champion, has his sights set on the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris, which begin on July 26. "It seems highly likely that the Olympics will happen. The fact that our tennis team will be competing in the Olympics is fantastic, but first I have a lot of Masters series to look forward to, like Indian Wells and Miami, before the clay court season starts. Wimbledon and the French Open are coming up. There are a ton of events leading up to the Olympics. As you are aware, the tennis calendar is quite full. There's a tournament every week. Thus, there are a lot of amazing things to anticipate, and Rohan is thrilled about the upcoming sea season. The world's top doubles player, who rose to the top of the rankings after winning the Australian Open 2024 quarterfinal, has been at the top of the rankings for more than two weeks, but the feeling of winning his first Australian Open title has not yet fully worn off. It's been amazing. It seems like it was yesterday, even though it has only been a few weeks. The response has been tremendous. To be honest, it's still getting to me. But with so many messages, it's been fantastic. Much love for this accomplishment of mine.  I'm incredibly proud of my family as well as the many well-wishers and people I've met who have in some way inspired me. It feels truly unique. "I am overjoyed to secure the top spot and a major victory," Bopanna exclaimed. After making it to the Australian Open 2024 men's doubles semifinal, Bopanna instantly rose to the top of the world rankings in that category. Winning the title added even more significance to the achievement. It is difficult because you do not typically receive this kind of response in between tournaments. I knew after winning that quarterfinal match that I would be ranked #1 in the world. And many other players as well. For that, there were numerous messages. I was aware of the task at hand.  If I had been the world's top player, it would have been absent, but ideally there would have been conflicting emotions if I hadn't taken first place. Thus, this would have been the ideal way to cap off the grand slam and take the top spot in the world rankings. "Especially considering our performance together last year—we reached the Wimbledon semifinals, the US Open championship, and the Australian Open semifinals—I believe we deserve to be in this position today," Rohan Bopanna said.

Indias Loss To Australia In U19 World Cup

Indias Loss To Australia In U19 World Cup

Millions of Indian fans still harbor strong emotions related to the tragic night of November 19, 2023. That was the day Australia overcame the Rohit Sharma-led team and took home the coveted ODI World Cup trophy. But, after India's defeat to Australia in the summit match on Sunday, the supporters were forced to relive that evening once more. Uday Saharan and company had an incredible campaign, going undefeated throughout the tournament before losing to Australia in the championship match, much like the senior team. India had now lost three straight ICC finals against Australia. They had previously lost in the World Test Championship final and the ODI World Cup 2023.   Memes from India's devastating defeat in the Under-19 World Cup final flooded social media.Speaking about the game, Australia scored a healthy 253 for seven when they batted by choice, forcing India to mount the biggest chase in a youth World Cup summit match. However, in the decisive stage leading up to victory, Uday Saharan's team collapsed to 174 all out as the unrelenting Australian bowlers, spearheaded by the ferocious Mahli Beardman (3/15) and the cunning off-spinner Raf MacMillan (3/43), did not allow them any breathing room In a way, the disappointment of losing to India in two title matches in 2012 and 2018 was also forgotten as Australia won their fourth U19 title and first since 2010.

Its A Competition That Loses Sourav Ganguly Provides Information About The U-19 World Cup Before India vs. Australia in the Final

Even though they have won every championship in the competition's history, India has never hosted the U-19 World Cup.When Team India plays Australia in the tournament's championship match on Sunday in Benoni, South Africa, they will be aiming for their sixth U-19 World Cup victory. Having advanced to the final eight times before the current edition, India is the most successful team in the tournament's history. Under Mohammed Kaif's direction, India won the U-19 World Cup for the first time in 2000. They then won it four more times in 2008, 2012, 2018, and 2022.India has never held the tournament, despite having such a stellar record in it.Sourav Ganguly, a former captain of India, has expressed his opinions regarding the rationale behind India's nonattendance at the event.Since the tournament's goal is to introduce cricket to new regions of the world, Ganguly believes there isn't a specific rationale for it."India is not hosting the U-19 World Cup for any specific reason. India is the host country for the other World Cups. What's wrong with this one being played in locations that don't see many senior World Cups? It's one approach to bringing the game to new markets," Ganguly said to RevSportz.Another belief is that the BCCI doesn't host the competition because it doesn't bring in enough money. Breaking the misconception, Ganguly declared: "It's fair to state that this competition is losing money. The majority of World Cups held without the senior men's teams are nonprofit events. However, this isn't the reason India hasn't hosted a U-19 World Cup match. Furthermore, I believe it will take place in India," he continued. The ICC's Associate Members, Malaysia (2008) and the United Arab Emirates (2014), will each host it once, with Zimbabwe and Namibia sharing hosting duties in 2026 for the subsequent event. All those brash 18 and 19-year-old Indian guys will stop at nothing on Sunday to secure a record-tying sixth ICC U-19 World Cup victory. Some careers will soar, while others will slip into obscurity. You can only listen to the newest music on JioSaavn.com. India U-19 will start as the favourites in this edition's title match after defeating Australia in the finals in 2012 and 2018.

Will Elon Musk Get What He Wants If Tesla Moves To Texas? Analysts State

Due to the absence of precedent and distinct regulations in Texas' business courts, Elon Musk's proposal to relocate Tesla from Delaware may not grant the CEO of the electric carmaker the extra flexibility he seeks, according to legal experts. Following a crushing defeat this week in Delaware's Chancery Court, which nullified his $56 billion compensation package, Musk declared on social media on Thursday that Tesla would "move immediately to hold a shareholder vote to transfer state of incorporation to Texas."Later on Thursday, Musk said, "Change your state of incorporation out of Delaware before they lock the doors."   If Musk's corporate relocation plan is approved by the board of directors at Tesla and the shareholders approve it as well, the electric vehicle manufacturer would move its incorporation from Delaware, the state in the United States with the largest number of registered companies because of its two-century-old corporate legal system. Due to this certainty, Delaware has long been favored by businesses; however, Musk may upend this by moving Tesla and enticing others to follow. It takes time and volume to build up a body of case law that makes the courts a trustworthy venue for business disputes, which is why Delaware has a clear advantage, according to Edwards.   A number of states, including Texas, have passed "constituency statutes," which guarantee business executives' ability to take into account interests other than maximizing profits for stockholders. He said that Delaware is not one of them.

Jannik Sinner Bounces Back To Beat Daniil Medvedev In Australian Open Final

In a demanding five-set Australian Open final on Sunday, Jannik Sinner overcame Daniil Medvedev after trailing two sets to one, capturing his maiden Grand Slam victory. After being badly outplayed in the opening two sets, the fourth-seeded Italian player rallied to win 3-6, 3-6, 6-4, 6-4, and 6-3 in three hours and forty-four minutes. The result is a bitter blow for the Russian third seed, who has now lost a second Australian Open final after being two sets up, following his defeat by Rafael Nadal in 2022. Although Medvedev had lost his previous three matches, he entered the match with a 6-3 winning record against the 22-year-old.   Before the final, the Russian had played three exhausting five-setters at Melbourne Park and had been on the court for almost six hours longer than Sinner.   However, he appeared new and quickly settled into his stride, which unsettled Sinner, who was normally composed but couldn't find any kind of rhythm.   Just twice during the tournament leading up to Sunday's championship match did the Italian, who was competing in his first Grand Slam final, lose a set. However, in the opening set, Medvedev doubled that total. At the beginning of the second set, world number four Sinner was once again in serious trouble. He was defending against several break points from a hungry Medvedev and begging for support from the Rod Laver Arena crowd.   He withstood that assault, but in the fourth game, a poor drop shot by the Russian set up the winner, breaking him for the third time in the match.   Medvedev hurriedly completed his service game to love, leaving Sinner with little time to compose himself. In the sixth game, he hit a hard forehand to set up two more break points, and Sinner missed a forehand to fall behind 5-1.   The Italian immediately responded, and in the ninth game, he had another break point to put the set back on serve, but Medvedev put an end to the little comeback.   Up until the pivotal tenth game, the third set was closer and decided by serve.   After a 31-shot rally, Sinner missed a forehand passing shot that would have given him two set points, but he got the opportunity again and took it to close out the set.   Sinner now had the upper hand, and Medvedev, who needed to strap his foot, had to work hard ,After Medvedev hit a long shot in the tenth game to send the match into a fifth set, Sinner fired three aces to take a 4-3 lead.     As the tension increased, neither player faltered on serve until the sixth game, when Medvedev gave Sinner three break points with a backhand that he dumped into the net.   You can only listen to the newest music on JioSaavn.com.   The Italian earned the vital break with a successful forehand crosscourt play, and he went on to record his first championship point.

Recapping a summer in Australia: Shan Masood's Pakistan had no shame in losing 3-0

MI Due to his ongoing recuperation from back surgery, Cape Town captain Rashid Khan will not play in the 2018 SA20 season. According to a statement from his cricket board (ACB), the outstanding legspinner was included in the Afghanistan squad on January 6 for the three-match T20I series in India, but it is unlikely that he would play. Rashid has also skipped Afghanistan's most recent Big Bash League (BBL) and T20I series in the United Arab Emirates. Making his SA20 debut, Kieron Pollard will captain MI Cape Town in Rashid's injury-plagued absence. Because the ILT20 in 2024 conflicts with the SA20, Pollard was also signed by MI Emirates to play in that tournament. However, Nicholas Pooran will captain MI Emirates instead of Pollard.Pollard was playing in the Abu Dhabi T10 league for the New York Strikers, where his team was defeated by Deccan Gladiators in the championship game. As a free agent in December 2023, Pooran—Pollard's CPL teammate at Trinbago Knight Riders—refused to accept his West Indies central contract. In September 2023, Pooran was revealed as the wildcard selection of Durban's Super Giants. Before joining MI Emirates for the second ILT20 season, Pooran is probably going to play three games in the SA20.Additionally, MI Cape Town confirmed the signing of Nuwan Thushara, a fast bowler from Sri Lanka, who will replace Jofra Archer in the forthcoming campaign. January 10–February 10 is when the SA20 and January 19–February 17 is when the ILT20 will take place. The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) and New Zealand's Super Smash will also be competing against the two leagues.
