Finally addressing the controversy surrounding her Melbourne show, singer Neha Kakkar has disclosed the specifics of what transpired that day. When Neha came three hours late for her Melbourne show, the irate audience jeered her and told her to leave. She broke down on stage and apologized to the audience in a video that went viral. Neha has now disclosed that her band was not given access to basic amenities like food, lodging, or water, and that the organizers fled without being paid. She claimed that because her fans were waiting for her, they nevertheless went on stage for the performance in spite of everything.
Neha revealed that she didn't even know the concert was going since the organizers stopped returning her managers' calls, and that the sound check was also postponed because the vendor wasn't paid. Neha Kakkar finally spoke out about the situation in a recent Instagram post, writing, "They said she came three hours late. Did they even ask once what happened to her, what did they do to her and her band? I didn't even tell anyone what had happened to us when I talked on stage because I didn't want anyone to be hurt because I'm not the one who should punish people, but now that it's in my name, I had to speak up. Here it is, then.Neha went on, "Are you all aware that I gave my Melbourne audience a completely free performance? My money and others were stolen by the organizers. My band didn't even receive water, food, or lodging. My spouse went with his boys to feed them.
