Notwithstanding the bowling prowess, there was a lot of big hitting; with 1,478, 2024 surpassed 2021's 1,349 boundaries to record the most in a T20 World Cup edition to date. It should come as no surprise that, out of those, 2024 had the most sixes (515), over 100 higher than 2021's 405 total.

The T20 World Cup 2024, which India won, was one of the most thrilling ICC competitions in cricket history, with several matches ending in thrilling ends. New records were set and many were broken.
