The business is giving its high-end phones up to a 20% discount on its own web store. In an attempt to increase sales in the face of fierce competition in the largest smartphone market in the world, Chinese electronics giant Huawei Technologies has dropped the costs of a variety of high-end devices.According to Huawei's official online store Vmall, the firm lowered the price of its flagship Pura 70 Ultra gadget, which was released in April, by 18% from its original 10,999 yuan to 8,999 yuan (US$1,233) for the 1 terabyte version. A steeper 20% reduction is being applied to the 512 gigabyte version.

The Mate X5, a foldable smartphone that was first released in September 2023, is currently on sale for 2,500 yuan cheaper than its initial 12,999 yuan beginning price, which is equivalent to a 19% savings. Since its release, the model has been the best-selling foldable phone in China, per statistics from research firm CINNO.In July, Huawei already reduced the price of the Pura 70 series by an uncommon 1,000 yuan. The most recent reductions follow the company's November releases of the foldable Mate X6 and flagship Mate 70 series, as it fought for a bigger piece of a market that was dominated by Apple and a number of Chinese competitors.
