Allu Arjun, a Tollywood star, stopped by the Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) on Tuesday morning to see how the nine-year-old child, who is receiving treatment after suffering severe injuries in a stampede at the Pushpa 2 premiere on December 4, was doing.M Revathi, the boy's mother, perished in the Sandhya Theatre stampede. Standing next to the youngster, who is still sliding into and out of a coma and whose rehabilitation, according to doctors, is gradual, was Arjun, who was given regular release by a local court after being detained in connection with the stampede case.Following Arjun's visit, the boy's doctors, Drs. Chetan R. Mundada and Vishnu Tej Pudi, reported that he was maintaining critical parameters well without the need for unnecessary assistance.
His antibiotics have been discontinued, and he has been afebrile for the past few days. He still has a good tolerance for nasogastric feedings. He is undergoing supportive treatment. His dystonia and agitation episodes have lessened but are still there. They claimed in a statement that "his sensorium remains the same with intermittent spontaneous eye opening and crying without meaningful eye contact or consistent response to verbal stimuli."Arjun spoke with M Bhasker, the boy's father, for almost ten minutes, asking him about the boy's health and offering his sympathies for his wife. He recovered quite slowly, Bhasker told him.
