After some recent trolling, Sonal Chauhan appeared to back Sharmin Segal of Heeramandi. Sonal talked about how edited videos were used to turn her into a villain. Many people have criticized Sharim Segal for her portrayal in her uncle, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali,'s Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. In addition, the actor has encountered criticism on social media for remarks she made recently in Heeramandi interviews against co-stars Aditi Rao Hydari and Sanjeeda Sheikh. Actor Sonal Chauhan appears to be backing Sharmin at this point. Read additionally: Sharmin Segal's remarks about Aditi Rao Hydari's punctuality have been dubbed "vile" on Reddit. "You are the villain, not her." Reddit users posted the actor's most recent Instagram Stories, in which she criticized trolls for making Sharmin appear like a "villain" in light of her recent interviews. Sonal commented without mentioning anyone, "It is so sad to see how social media/some Instagram pages are making a villain out of a person just because trolling them at this point will bring them a little more traction and engagement." She went on, "It is really obvious how videos are edited to make this specific actor look terrible or how quotes from the entire interview are added only because it's 'trending' to make them look bad at the moment. Remember that you are the ones who initiated and are continuing this trend. You are enhancing the story. A person's complete character or personality is not defined by their on-screen persona. You are the villain, not her." The actor tagged her post with the phrases "draw a line," "be human," and "shame on you." Responses to Sonal's statement A Redditor said, "It's funny because most of the videos that get posted here and go viral aren't edited in any way to make Sharmin look bad; trust me, I've seen the interviews they're taken from." There isn't a single cut or misinterpretation of the issue 98 percent of the time. That is indeed the exact thing that Sharmin stated.

Review of the film Atlas: An absolutely unsalvageable action movie starring Jennifer Lopez that sets a new low for Netflix tentpoles

Review of the film Atlas: An absolutely unsalvageable action movie starring Jennifer Lopez that sets a new low for Netflix tentpoles

Review of the science-fiction action picture Atlas starring Jennifer Lopez: It is visually disorienting, has little ambition, and has no true redeeming qualities. There are terrible films, and then there are terrible Netflix-produced films. The streamer's most recent high-profile production, Atlas, is evidently determined to keep getting bigger and bigger, but it somehow falls short of the dismal caliber of its two previous big failures from earlier this year, which were the space opera Rebel Moon — Part 2: The Scargiver and the fantasy survival thriller Damsel. Atlas, a future action movie starring Jennifer Lopez as a soldier with trust issues, is dull, absurd, and sadly unsalvageable. The title character, an extremely intelligent scientist who despises artificial intelligence, is portrayed by the typically dependable Lopez. Living alone in an artificial intelligence-overrun hyperfuturistic Los Angeles, she faces the impending threat of total devastation, which is masterminded by Simu Liu's character, Harlan, a renegade cyborg. Harlan and Atlas have a past together; when she was a little girl, she unintentionally started him down a path of villainy, which effectively marked the beginning of the end for humanity. She resembles James Franco's character from the Planet of the Apes reboot films in that way; he intended to treat Alzheimer's disease but wound up upsetting the only ape capable of inciting a revolution against humans. I apologize.Brad Peyton, the director of Atlas, looks to have washed ashore on the shores of streaming, seeking quick sanctuary from the Hollywood studio system he once served. Peyton served a time at the Dwayne Johnson penitentiary for stand-ins. The end product is an overly dramatic and poorly written muddle that lacks both the self-aware absurdity and technical skill of Peyton's earlier films, of which he is still most known for Rampage and San Andreas. In the story, Atlas, a brilliant but unruly person when it comes to chess, is dispatched to a far-off planet on a mission that practically amounts to a bounty hunt, with the goal of bringing Harlan back alive. Following the ship's crash-landing and the death or capture of her entire platoon,She performs her best Sigourney Weaver impression, gets into a mech suit straight out of Alien 2, and for a significant portion of the ostensibly action-packed story, she stays motionless. As the film nears its conclusion, Peyton and his screenwriters, Leo Sardarian and Aron Eli Coleite, make the strange decision to bind Atlas to a table. Atlas is understandably motionless while she's wearing the bulky outfit. Therefore, there is a significant portion in which Lopez is required to provide a convincingly dramatic performance while lying motionless on a flat surface and rambling on about Atlas' past. It would be like asking Virat Kohli to hit sixes while holding one arm behind his back in a film.

Therefore, there is a significant portion in which Lopez is required to provide a convincingly dramatic performance while lying motionless on a flat surface and rambling on about Atlas' past. It would be like asking Virat Kohli to hit sixes while holding one arm behind his back in a film. However, you shouldn't take this kind of film seriously. It's the kind of movie where individuals rush for cover and utter stuff like, "He's targeting my fusion reactor," and "My turn," after enduring a hail of gunshots. In relation to that, Lopez spends a good deal of the film alone herself, forced to perform either by herself or through the disembodied voice of an AI assistant that Atlas eventually compels her to rely on. These are some of the most boring scenes in the movie, with the writing going completely bonkers in its naive attempts to have the two protagonists engage in buddy-movie banter.Lopez most likely never left the studio. She doesn't even seem to have perspired. The underpaid and overworked visual effects artists are the only crew members who might have needed electrolytes and caffeine, and they will all be unfairly held accountable for their involvement in what is unquestionably the most unattractive film of the year thus far. It would be correct to describe Atlas as an eyesore, but that would also, regrettably, suggest a misty-eyed nostalgia for the era of Red Notice and The Gray Man.

While he was away, Sanjay Leela Bhansalis Heeramandi ADs would film a single page in 12 hours. Actor Mark Bennington pondered Is this a joke

Sanjay Leela Bhansali is listed as the only director of the Netflix series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, with a few other directors receiving credit at the conclusion of each episode. Actor Mark Bennington, who portrayed the evil British officer Henderson in the show, disclosed in a recent interview that his aides would shoot for hours on end on days when Bhansali wasn't there in order to await the director's permission. He revealed that Bhansali would receive specific footage, which he would either accept or reject. However, on the days when Bhansali directed himself, scenes would be completed in three to five takes.During his first day on the Heeramandi set, Mark noted in an interview with Showsha that Bhansali wasn't there. They were emailing Bhansali clips, which I'm not sure he approved or disapproved of. They would merely email him the clips, not every clip. I'm not sure. Anyhow. We ultimately did fifteen to twenty-five takes for each arrangement. On a wide picture, it took about 19 takes. "Are you guys kidding me?" I thought. Is this a practical joke? I mistook it for a candid camera. There must be a joke in this. We are unable to perform that many takes. When we come to the close-up and there are two takes, I believed everything would be OK.

Pratibha Ranta discusses the parallels between her characters in Heeramandi and Laapataa Ladies. The feeling was the same.

Actor Pratibha Ranta recently talked about her experience filming Heeramandi, the web series by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and the movie starring Kiran Rao.The actor Pratibha Ranta appeared in two very different characters in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar and Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies. She did, however, grasp onto a resemblance between her characters while speaking with Indian Express. (Also Read: Interview with Pratibha Ranta: I get excited when girls tell me they can identify with my role in Laapataa Ladies.)Pratibha portrayed Jaya in Laapataa Ladies, a young lady from a traditional household who gets married off against her will. She portrayed Shama in Heeramandi, a stunning little girl who is the envy of her mother, prostitute Waheeda (Sanjeeda Sheikh)."I was able to experience a different world when I went to shoot for Heeramandi," Pratibha added, describing the experience as a "magical one." Heeramandi had a large set, and I found that the two characters' approaches were very dissimilar. Jaya has a guarded demeanor. She deliberates for a long time before acting. She is, however, observing. This is what she is doing, which is why she has four eyes. Thus, all of that was something I used to consider when getting ready for Jaya's role. She did, however, see a commonality throughout her roles—the need for independence. "But, in the end, it was the same emotion to get that freedom that I have to do what I have to do," the woman remarked.Despite being an urban girl, Pratibha said she could identify to her role in an interview with Hindustan Times following the premiere of Laapataa Ladies. She asserted, "She is unwavering in her conviction and speaks up for herself when no one else does." What's not to connect? Additionally, I saw parallels between her experience and mine. I knew I wanted to be an actress, even though my family thought I should pursue something else. To pursue my aspirations, I moved to Mumbai from Shimla. Like her, I've always insisted on having autonomy over my own life. I had a strong feeling that I could be her.

Does Heera Mandi' by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Respect Women's Dignity?

Does Heera Mandi' by Sanjay Leela Bhansali Respect Women's Dignity?

The public's opinions about Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Netflix series "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar" have been divided. The historical drama received criticism from director Vivek Agnihotri, who said, "Bollywood has this tendency to romanticize courtesans and brothels." Snehil Dixit Mehra, co-director of the show, responded to Agnihotri's remark. She stated, "Heeramandi isn't about glorifying tawaifs," in a recent interview."I think he hasn't watched the show. The glorifying of tawaifs is not the purpose of Heeramandi. The 1920s and 1940s provide a setting for the show. Wawains were in charge at the time, Mehra told News18.She also mentioned how, in the 1920s and 1940s, she and Bhansali discovered via their research for "Heeramandi" that courtesans were paying higher taxes than "nawabs.""We researched the show well before we produced it. We discovered throughout our investigation that these tawaifs were so wealthy that, despite their fraudulent accounting, they were paying higher taxes than the nawabs, Mehra continued.Agnihotri wrote on X, "I haven't seen the show, but I have visited Heeramandi in Lahore a few times," acknowledging that he hasn't watched "Heeramandi" yet. Bollywood has a propensity to romanticize prostitutes and couturiers. It's a depressing observation because brothels have never been luxurious, glamorous, or exquisite settings. These serve as memorials to injustice, misery, and agony in humankind. People who haven't seen this should watch Mandi (sic) by Shyam Benegal."The director of "The Kashmir Files" went on, saying, "We also need to consider this: Does creativity allow us to romanticize human suffering? Is it permissible to create a movie in which people living in slums are shown as having plenty? Is it OK to depict people living in slums dressed like they're attending an Ambani wedding? Please talk about (sic)."Mehra clarified the story that the creators of "Heeramandi" have attempted to tell while outlining their position. They lost their dignity as a result of the freedom war and the British attempts to break the nautch girls. We have decided to tell this particular tale. It's just the nature of the story; it has nothing to do with glorifying the tawaifs. To get our message, he (Agnihotri) needs to watch the series first, she continued.

Captivating the King actor Cho Jung Seok is a fan of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots

Captivating the King actor Cho Jung Seok is a fan of Aamir Khan’s 3 Idiots

"Three years after he made a charming return to the film in the popular medical drama Hospital Playlist 1 and 2, Cho Jung Seok made his screen comeback with Captivating the King. The well-known South Korean actor says, ""I want to evoke curiosity, make people wonder, 'How would Cho Jung Seok handle this role?'"" as his most recent historical drama, Captivating The King, comes to an end with the best audience rates in Korea, according to Nielsen. The historical drama, produced by Studio Dragon, was Cho Jung Seok's (also known as Jo Jung Suk) comeback to television three years after he played the lovable role of the doctor and single parent Lee Ik Jun in the popular medical dramas Hospital Playlist 1 and 2. He portrays the conflicted and exiled King Yi In in Captivating a King. Despite being self-described as a spy, he is an expert player of board games, or ""baduk."" The only person who can compete with him is Kang Hee Soo (Shin Se Kyung), a lady ready to get her revenge on him while posing as a man in the royal court. In an exclusive interview with The Indian Express, Cho Jung Seok states that exploring his character's thoughts was very appealing to him. ""The plot moved quickly, and the characters' interactions and feelings stuck out more than anything I've ever seen. As soon as I started reading the script, I became engrossed. It's challenging to represent someone. who always plans ahead, is wary of new people, and eventually recognizes that he is destined to hold a prominent position. I so tried to highlight the nuances and facets of this man's personality in each scenario, concentrating more on his mental state. A well-known figure in musical theater, Cho Jung Seok made his stage debut as a professional performer and starred in a number of notable Korean productions, including Grease, Spring Awakening, and The Nutcracker. But 2012 marked a turning point in his career, both on television and in movies, as he starred in the critically acclaimed drama The King 2 Hearts and the feature Architecture 101. The 43-year-old actor, who has completed 20 years in the entertainment industry, claims that throughout the years, his only goal has been to defy convention in his field. ""I have an intense drive to provide a good performance when I read a compelling script or character. I may have desired titles like ""a trusted actor"" in the past, but my current goal is to be an actor with endless potential who is unrestricted by any one label. The actor, who has shown his versatility across genres, says there is no formula for what he does. He has played the macho star reporter who finds himself in a difficult situation in Don't Dare to Dream, the professional chef who meets a woman who has the ability to see ghosts in Oh My Ghost, and a revolutionary in The Nokdu Flower. The Great Indian Kapil Show will be Kapil Sharma's first foray into the over-the-top (OTT) television market. Sharma is best known for his hit television programs Comedy Nights With Kapil and The Kapil Sharma Show. In addition, it's the reunion of Kapil and Sunil Grover following their historic 2017 aircraft altercation. Netflix is set to launch the show's streaming service on March 30. In the trailer, Sunil Grover makes a guest cameo while Kapil Sharma and his group discuss possible names for the show. Along with Kapil and Sunil, the show will also include Archana Puran Singh, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, and Rajeev Paul. ""It's been one of the best things to happen to them,"" Kapil said, expressing his joy about the show and the transfer to Netflix. He promised to amuse followers not only in India but all across the world, assuring them that although their home has changed, their family has not. For the past few days, the recent altercation between well-known comedians Kapil Sharma and Sunil Grover has dominated the internet, and for good reason. When the two most well-known comedians in the nation become irate with one another, naturally, people want to know what went wrong. Additionally, this is not the first argument between the two. Due to his Gutthi act, Sunil had begun to get recognition. As a result of the show's overwhelming success, Sunil supposedly demanded a raise, but both Kapil and the show's producer turned down his request. Numerous sources made similar accusations, although at the time, neither of them had discussed the matter. However, Kapil later provided The Times of India with a statement regarding it: ""All I can say is that since we were all involved in the success of our program, Sunil should never have departed. Sunil has been in the entertainment world, attempting to get his footing. I'm senior to him. I have the utmost respect for his abilities. Furthermore, I don't take offense at anyone or feel competitive with them. To the extent that I can, I actually make an effort to give each member of my staff an opportunity to speak on stage. It is likely that those in Sunil's immediate vicinity provoked him to leave."" Sunil Grover's comeback to the show However, Sunil and Kapil were destined to collaborate, as Sunil, who had lost his appeal after departing from Kapil's program, reappeared as Kapil's father-in-law. When Kapil supposedly declined to use the show to promote Sunil's film There were rumors that Kapil was not happy with Sunil's decision to make films and that he did not want to promote Sunil's film on his show. Later on, Sunil addressed the matter in a statement, claiming that Kapil was unrelated to the movie's lack of promotion on The Kapil Sharma Show."
