UAE: Abu Dhabi's two new bridges will reduce traffic and morning rush hour delays by 20 seconds.

A three-lane flyover bridge on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and a two-lane bridge linking Shakhbout Bin Sultan Street to the same road are part of the Dh315 million project. The new bridges cover 10,242 square meters, include five lanes, 61 traffic lights, and a total length of 742 meters.Abu Dhabi: Two new bridges linking Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and Shakhbout Bin Sultan Street towards Musaffah have been opened by the Department of Municipalities and Transport (DMT) in partnership with the Integrated Transport Centre (Abu Dhabi Mobility).

Traffic flow will be significantly improved by the Dh315 million infrastructure project, which will reduce intersection delays by up to 80% during peak morning hours. Each bridge features designated bike and pedestrian routes in addition to five lanes that can accommodate 7,500 automobiles per hour. The project consists of a two-lane bridge that connects Shakhbout Bin Sultan Street to Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street and a three-lane flyover on Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street.The new bridges include five lanes, 61 lamps, and a 742-meter span. Twelve piers support the 990-meter ramps.
