Rana was instrumental in the Kolkata Knight Riders' IPL victory, taking 19 wickets in 13 matches. The Delhi speedster's aim is to play for India after his breakout IPL season.The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) team ran on the engine of Harshit Rana, who went on to win the championship three times. Harshit, the uncapped Indian bowler, came through for his team during the first half of the IPL when Mitchell Starc was having trouble keeping his rhythm. In 13 games, he claimed 19 wickets.

After being interviewed by The Indian Express, Harshit, 22, talks about his experience in the IPL, what Shah Rukh Khan promised him, why he began playing cricket, and his future aspirations.
