JEE Main 2025 Topper: Examine, refine, repeat Om Prakash Behera's recipe for success

JEE Main 2025 Result: In 2021, Om Prakash also took first place in the Junior Mathematics Olympiad in Odisha. He received one of the top 14 scores in the January 2025 JEE Main exam.Om Prakash Behera has achieved the perfect NTA score of 100 in the JEE Main January 2025 session, the results of which were released on February 11. The topper does not own a phone, citing distractions as a major concern. His daily routine consists of eight to nine hours of self-study. His ultimate goal is to pursue a BTech from the computer science and engineering branch of IIT Bombay.Prakash focused his learning strategy on introspection and self-improvement. He says, "I would evaluate my errors after each test and try to avoid making the same ones again.
"The 17-year-old, who is originally from Bhubaneswar, Odisha, received 92 percent of the possible points in his Class 10 exam. In his spare time, he likes to read novels. Before eating lunch or dinner, he would also check his parents' phone and play with his buddies. Even though he enjoys scientific classes, he was not very interested in biology issues, so he decided to take JEE and pursue a career in IT.His father, Kamalkant Behera, is an officer at the Odisha Administrative Services, while his mother, Smita Rani Behera, a college lecturer, quit her job to care for him in Kota. Om Prakash attributes his accomplishments to the direction provided by his instructors at Allen Career Institute, his coaching center. He mostly studied the NCERT syllabus for JEE Main.
