Indian movies brought in ₹1245 Cr in February, with Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava taking first place.

With a total revenue of almost ₹650 crore, Chhaava became the highest-grossing movie of February and one of the highest-grossing Hindi films ever.With a strong showing that has generated a gross collection of ₹1,245 crore for the month of February, the Indian box office has maintained its momentum from January into February. And with 53% of February's total movie office receipts, Vicky Kaushal's Chhaava was the standout performance. Chhaava, Vicky's historical drama, brought in 53% of the month's total box office receipts. Rashmika Mandanna also starred in the movie, which came out on February 14. The Maratha monarch Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is the subject of the biopic Chhaava, which was directed by Laxman Utekar. When it comes to Chhaava's participation in the list, this analysis has only taken into account Hindi-language box office receipts because the Telugu version of the movie was released in March 2025.As of right now, the total box office receipts for 2025 films total ₹2,264 crore, a 39% increase over the same period in 2024.
