In Dubai, PM Modi says world needs inclusive, corruption-free govts

"On Wednesday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi stated that inclusive and corrupt-free governments are what the world needs now. Speaking at the World Governments Summit in Dubai on the second day of his visit, Modi declared that ""minimum government, maximum governance"" has been his guiding principle for the past few years. The prime minister stated, ""They have trust in the intent and commitment of the government,"" citing a rise in people's trust in the government over the past several years in India. The prime minister stated that his administration prioritized women-led growth and improved the economic, social, and political circumstances for Indian women. In addition, he stated that his government has made social and financial inclusion a top priority and that more over 50 crore people were enrolled in banking services. He questioned, ""Shouldn't there be reforms in global governance institutions at a time when we are transforming our country? We have to ensure respect for international law while giving priority to our national sovereignty.

"Terrorism and climate change were mentioned by PM Modi as significant issues facing humanity. Every day, humanity faces new challenges due to terrorism in its various manifestations. Climate-related issues are become more pervasive these days. He stated, ""On the one hand, there are issues at home, and on the other, the global system appears to be in disarray. In his speech, Modi added that Dubai is fast emerging as the center of the world's trade, technology, and economy. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed is a visionary and resolute leader, according to Modi, who praised the UAE president. With the theme of ""Shaping Future Governments,"" the World Governments Summit brings together global leaders from the commercial sector, international organizations, governments, and thought leaders."
