How can you tell whether you're in love? There is, however, a simple method! Watch the music video for "Vaisakha Sandhye" from the 1987 comedy-drama Nadodikkattu, directed by Sathyan Anthikad.Yes, this may sound like a dumb notion. But try it. You would start reimagining the frames with you and your special someone, exactly like Mohanlal and Shobana are doing in those shots, as Dasan (Mohanlal) and Radha (Shobana) enjoy each other's affection in the middle of their ordinary, working-class lives, accompanied by Shyam's ethereal tune, Yusufali Kechery's passionate lyrics, and KJ Yesudas' calming vocals.

You would also realize at that point who you would like to relive those events with. It may seem unbelievable, yet it is a reality that many Malayalees have done this at least once in their lives! The unmatched on-screen chemistry between Mohanlal and Shobana is unquestionably what made the song what it is — a song born out of the beat that the heart skipped. Of course, the way the story developed up to this point and the filmmaker's vision played a big part in the track's iconic status. However, this wasn't the first (or last) film or sequence that highlighted their incredible scene-stealing ability. And Thudarum, directed by Tharun Moorthy, is the most recent in a long line of movies whose beauty is enhanced by the presence of Mohanlal and Shobana.
