The extended weekend during the Christmas season aided in the movie's box office performance. Soon after its premiere, Adipurush generated controversy and received backlash for both its dialogue and visual effects. During its run, his 2022 movie Radhe Shyam only brought in Rs 104.38 crore nett. On its seventh day, Salaar will surpass the lifetime collection of Saaho, Prabhas' 2019 film. During its existence, Saaho earned Rs 310.60 crore. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, directed by SS Rajamouli, is his biggest hit to date, earning Rs 1030.42 crore nett in India and Rs 1788.06 crore worldwide.
