Despite competition and issues, "Pushpa 2" dominated the box office, earning Rs. 1215 crore in just five weeks. Other releases, such as "Baby John" and "Mufasa," had little effect on the December 5 release. Despite being in theaters for 30 days, Sukumar's film continued to do well. The well-known line "Jhukega nahi" struck a chord with the audience when the first installment of "Pushpa" was released, and the second installment did the same. In its first few days of release, "Pushpa 2" shattered the previous record, and the film's line "fire nahi, wildfire hai" perfectly captures its five-week box office run.
According to the Sacnilk report, the film made approximately Rs. 2 crore on its fifth Thursday (early estimates). With these figures, the film's fifth-week net collection in India will surpass Rs. 25 crore. Despite having been in theaters for nearly 30 days after its December 5 debut, the movie continues to dominate the box office. The Varun Dhawan film "Baby John" and Disney's animated adventure drama "Mufasa: The Lion King" were expected to pose a serious threat to this Pan-India film by the end of December, but "Pushap 2" barely noticed them. While "Mufasa: The Lion King" garnered Rs 34 lakhs on Thursday, "Baby John" only made Rs 17 lakhs, while "Pushpa 2" made crores.
