Audio announcements at bus stops, Braille signage, color-coded tactile tiles, and ramps. Activists claim that all of these may be implemented with a modest investment.One prominent gap that is replicated around the city is the absence of ramps for patients to walk down following surgery at a reputable eye facility in Bengaluru.
Most of the city's deteriorated sidewalks are inaccessible to wheelchair users. Even while signage is rarely present, it is hardly instructive, therefore the hearing challenged have no means to learn anything.
