This season, the team competes to serve desserts at a number of significant occasions, such as a joint 75th birthday celebration, a bar mitzvah, and a celebration honoring the founder of the LGBTQ+ sports group Varsity Gay League. After finding out who these bakers would be helping to celebrate, they have one day to organize and make customized sweets in the hopes of being selected to cater each occasion. Which creation works best for their celebration is ultimately up to the client. Similar to Season 1, there are no large winners or eliminations at the end; instead, the only award is the opportunity to brighten someone's day (and maybe brag about it to other bakers).
