Actress Medha Shankr, who starred in the movie 12th Fail, talked about how she prepared for her role and discovered parallels between herself and real-life IRS inspector Shraddha Joshi.Featuring Vikrant Massey and Medha Shankr, Vidhu Vinod Chopra's 12th Fail ended up becoming one of the most prosperous movies of 2023. Recently, Medha talked candidly about her film-making process and her interpretation of the role of IRS officer Shraddha Joshi, who helped Manoj Kumar Sharma realize his aspiration to become an IPS officer.
When Medha met Manoj and Shraddha prior to filming, she indicated she would take a ton of notes, but the director advised her to be inspired by Shraddha rather than trying to emulate her.It is not necessary for you to emulate Shraddha ma'am, as Sir made quite clear. Though you must develop your own character, you must draw inspiration from hers. I met Shraddha ma'am numerous times for my preparation. I would jot down notes. When I initially met her and Manoj Sir, I asked her everything about her life over the course of six hours while we were chatting.
I brought a journal. The actress told Bollywood Hungama, "Because I wanted to know who Shraddha ma'am beyond the script and the book and beyond what Vidhu sir has told me."According to Medha Shankr, she and Shraddha realized they had similar worldviews when they spoke. Every time we conversed, we would have the same worldviews for some bizarre, bizarre reason. We continue to joke and discuss how this was truly orchestrated by divine design, given how similar our minds are to one another, she continued.
