"Star of Crushed Aadhya Anand reflected on her time on the show and expressed her aspirations for her character's future in an exclusive interview with Zoom. Aadhya Anand debuted in the Netflix series Bombay Begums in 2021 with Pooja Bhatt and Danish Husain. She has since been in the feature film Friday Night Plan and the Amazon miniTV school series Crushed. In her developing career, Anand has grown to be most linked with the role of the adolescent drama. She received another nomination last year for the 2023 Filmfare OTT Awards for her role in Crushed. The teenage actress discussed Crushed Season 4 and its conclusion in an interview with Zoom her appearances on the show. Below are some excerpts:What aspects of your personality and your character are similar and different? Since my character has a relatability quality that anybody can identify with, particularly when it comes to their teenage years, I can say that I have personally experienced many of the same confusions, problems, and tensions that Aadhya Mathur has. The only thing that makes me different is that I read books instead of poetry. How was it to collaborate with a large cast on Crushed? What experiences are you going to remember? I have felt at home in this entire unit from the very beginning. Thus, it never seemed like work alone.
Having everyone of them as co-stars was incredible, and it was a pleasure to work with alongside them. The show illustrates the range of pressures that children face in the classroom and in their personal lives. What guidance would you provide the younger viewers of the show who might be going through similar things? Accept whatever life throws at you and move on. Remind yourself that difficult times will pass. Aim to stay focused on your objectives. Make sure you enjoy yourself, exercise good judgment, and put in a lot of work. What's on your horizon? Right present, I'm in discussions with a number of projects. However, I can't divulge until things settle down. In addition, I have a few short films that will soon be available."
