A Guernsey committee meets with a Jersey minister.

To exchange views with a Guernsey States committee, a Jersey minister traveled to Guernsey. According to officials, the Committee for Environment and Infrastructure collaborated with Jersey Minister for Infrastructure Andy Jehan to exchange ideas regarding the island's recycling and trash transportation systems.The minister's visit included joint on-site tours to the Household Waste and Recycling Center and the Longue Houge Waste Transfer Station, as well as a meeting with the Committee at the La Valette swimming facilities.

Jehan added: "As Channel Islands, we face similar challenges and can always learn from each other and seek to improve our co-operation."Lindsay de Sausmarez, president of the Environment Committee, stated: "Our islands face many of the same difficulties because we are jurisdictions of comparable sizes."Sharing knowledge with each other is one of the best ways we can learn from each other and tackle them ever more efficiently."
