As of Wednesday afternoon, pupils had made approximately 44,000 requests on the Central Board of Secondary Education's (CBSE) verification and re-evaluation portal, a significant increase. According to the board, the portal received 4,924 applications for verification and 39,056 applications for re-evaluation by 12 p.m. on June 3, bringing the total number of submissions to 43,980.By early June 2026, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had 43,980 petitions for verification and reevaluation. Widespread worry has resulted from the increase in applications and the switch to an On-Screen Marking (OSM) system, since parents and students have reported serious technical issues with the post-result webpage.
Technical Improvements: To avoid users being immediately logged out of the CBSE Re-evaluation Portal while submitting applications, the board extended session time limitations in response to criticism.Scanned Answer Sheets: During the evaluation retrieval procedure, students have reported obtaining blurry scanned copies of their papers and format errors. The conclusion of the exams has not been a relief for many CBSE Class 12 pupils. Rather, a new chapter of dread has been created by the post-result procedure, with complaints about errors, inaccessible portals, and issues with the evaluation system still mounting. New complaints about radically shifting costs on the revaluation portal have surfaced, casting doubt on the system's dependability, days after students reported login issues and interruptions in accessing post-result services.
