Despite being one of the most well-known competitors on Bigg Boss 17, Ankita Lokhande was unable to achieve triumph. Ankita discussed her time in the house, her friendship with Munawar Faruqui, and her thoughts on Bigg Boss 17 in an exclusive interview with Indianexpress.com. She also addressed rumors that she brought up her late boyfriend, actor Sushant Singh Rajput, in an attempt to win people over. (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)Ankita spoke on her friendship with Munawar and added, "I don't know why people say so, but my friendship with Munawar never broke." Only there did Munna and I converse." (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)"More than welcome, if I feel someone wants to be friends with me," Ankita continued. I used to constantly attempt to let go and go on, but these days I don't want to. I need to defend myself, and I want to stand up for myself. Your generous disposition may occasionally work against you alone. So yes, I don’t want to be so giving now, that someone walks over me." (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)Ankita also acknowledged that she found Mannara Chopra's friendship with Vicky Jain to be "triggering," but she regrets how their relationship deteriorated after seeing the incidents. (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)"Watching the episodes after coming out, I noticed that while at first I would relate with Mannara a lot, with time her trajectory changed and she began to experience a few things. That was alright with me," she continued. (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande).

In response to accusations that she was pulling a sympathy card, Ankita said she would have talked about Sushant outside if it meant motivating others. "I would want to share a story about Sushant with them if they knew I was related to him." Nothing is incorrect; I was only telling them about him, not my narrative. Thus, I say, let people say what they want to," Ankita said. (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)Ankita stated in the interview that she would not stop her mother-in-law from criticizing her, saying, "To date, people have made their assumptions, they have said what they had to, since whatever happened that time was in front of everyone." (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)"It is a family concern for me," she continued. "I know her aim was not such, but some things were conveyed to me. I know how much they love me because I have stayed with them, but my mother became a little tearful on Bigg Boss." (Image: Instagram/Ankita Lokhande)
