In January, Samsung released the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which sports a 200-megapixel quad rear camera configuration. According to an early rumor, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a significant camera redesign next year. Samsung is reportedly testing a flagship smartphone with three rear cameras rather than four for the following year. The current phone's 10-megapixel telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom may not be included in the future iteration. The basic 200-megapixel sensor will probably remain.Samsung is reportedly testing the Galaxy S25 Ultra with three rear cameras: a primary sensor, an ultra-wide device, and a periscope zoom system, according to tipster Sperandio4Tech (@ISAQUES81) on X. According to rumors, the company that makes the flagship smartphone for 2019 will not have the 10-megapixel 3x optical zoom telephoto sensor. This hardware would differ significantly from its predecessors. A 200-megapixel wide camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide shooter, a 50-megapixel telephoto lens with a 5x optical zoom, and a 10-megapixel telephoto shooter with a 3x optical zoom comprise the Galaxy S24 Ultra's quad rear camera configuration.
The 200-megapixel primary camera of the rumored Galaxy S25 Ultra prototype is said to remain unchanged, while light-capture efficiency may be enhanced. It is expected to have the same 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, and at this prototyping level, alterations are not possible. We are testing the periscope camera with a huge sensor and variable zoom. Two fixed focal lengths—one between 4x and 5x zoom and the other between 6x and 7x zoom—are being tested by Samsung with the periscope camera.
