The Tinder Swindler directors Felicity Morris and Bernadette Higgins have a new docuseries called American Nightmare, which explores what happened after Huskins was abducted in this horrifying, convoluted, and twisted story.Huskins' disappearance story drew attention from the national media, with many seeing comparisons to Gone Girl, Gillian Flynn's 2012 book.

The young couple's account of the events, according to law authorities, was too fantastical for anybody to accept.
