Russia is debating whether to host the SCO Startup Forum.

The Shanghai Cooperation Organization Startup Forum facilitates the exchange of innovative best practices and the beginning of collaborative ventures. In order to maintain and ensure peace, security, and stability in the region, the SCO works to build mutual trust and neighborliness among its member states, encourage effective cooperation in politics, trade, economy, research, technology, and culture, as well as in education, energy, transportation, tourism, and environmental protection, among other areas. It also works to establish a new international political and economic order that is democratic, equitable, and logical.
