The study looks at which Italian sites are most often searched for by couples who are organizing their honeymoon, using data from Ahrefs.The cost-effectiveness of these well-liked locations is also assessed by the study through an examination of lodging costs from booking.com and Airbnb. The goal of this comparison is to find the best deal for a week in July.Italy's allure—its breathtaking scenery, vibrant culture, and pleasant weather—keeps luring honeymooners in. This study helps newlyweds choose the most popular and reasonably priced locations for their romantic retreat.Rome is the most searched-for location for honeymoons, highlighting its prominence as a prominent Italian vacation destination. Its popularity is demonstrated by the 600 global searches it receives each month and the average lodging cost for two persons for a week in July is approximately $1,461.Sicily shares the spotlight with Rome, with 600 global searches every month. But honeymooners will find this to be a more affordable destination; average weekly expenses here come to just $620, which is $841 less than in Rome.Famous Italian destinations Lake Como and Sardinia, with 450 global searches per month, are in third place in terms of popularity. They are very different in price: a romantic getaway in Lake Como costs, on average, $1,096 per week, but a similar retreat in Sardinia costs, on average, $766.With 400 searches each month on average, Tuscany comes in fourth place. A week's worth of lodging in this charming area for two persons comes to about $820 on average.Venetian holiday destination Venice rounds out the top five, attracting 300 searches connected to honeymoons per month.
A week-long stay in this charming city typically costs about $1,277.The five locations at the bottom of the rankings—Cilento, Salerno, Umbria, Matera, and Revello—have no searches that are directly linked to honeymoons. The average weekly cost of lodging ranges from $626 to $1,701.With an average volume of 40 honeymoon searches, Positano has the second-lowest ranking but the highest average cost for a week's stay for newlyweds—$3,423. Puglia, also referred to as "Apulia," is third on the list of least popular travel destinations, with 50 searches on average and a $699 weekly price tag. The fourth least searched-for location is Cinque Terre, a gorgeous coastal region along the Italian Riviera with five little villages. It sees an average monthly search volume of 60 and offers an economical stay, averaging around $833.It receives 60 searches a month on average and provides a reasonably priced stay (an average of $833).
While Capri had the same number of searches as the other 60 destinations, it is noticeably more expensive, coming in at number two with $2,817 for a week's stay. With an average search volume of 70, Verona, a city in the Veneto region, completes the lowest five destinations for honeymooners. If a couple wants to stay here, they should budget about $974 per week on average.
