New Delhi, January 15, 2024: Praveen Vashista, a 1991-batch IPS officer from Bihar, has been granted an extension of his central deputation tenure as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Home Affairs by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet. The extension will last for one year after January 14, 2024, or until further orders, whichever comes first.Mr. Praveen Vashista, a Bihar cadre IPS officer from the 1991 batch, has had his central deputation extended for an additional year. At the moment, he works for the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) as an Additional Secretary.
