The Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) has issued an order stating that Nirwan's appointment will take effect on the day he takes over and remain until further directives are given.

The Professional Background, Early Career, and Postings of Rajesh Nirwan Rajesh Nirwan, a 1992-batch IPS officer from the Rajasthan cadre, has extensive expertise in security management and law enforcement. His appointment as Superintendent of Police (SP), CID (CB), Jaipur, marked the start of his career. He has accumulated a great deal of experience managing intricate law and order issues while serving as the police chief in a number of districts over the years, including Jhalawar, Sawai Madhopur, Tonk, and Kota.Key Roles and Promotions Nirwan worked with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), India's top investigative organization, for two years after being elevated to the position of Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) in 2007.
