Mahakumbh Live 2025: On Tuesday, thousands of devotees braved the cold and heavy fog to gather to the Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj for the Makar Sankranti festival and take a sacred plunge known as the "Amrit Snan." According to Uttar Pradesh, more than one crore worshippers visited the Triveni Sangam on Tuesday to take a sacred bath. By 7 am on Tuesday, around 98.20 lakh persons had taken the holy bath known as "Amirt Snan," and by now, the number must have surpassed one crore, according to UP DGP Prashant Kumar, who spoke to ANI.
