Last Day To Update Aadhaar Information

Those who have not yet updated their Aadhaar information have more than a month to do so without incurring any fees; after March 14, 2024, a fee will be applicable for this service. It is recommended to take advantage of the remaining free updating period to avoid additional costs. The free Aadhaar updating service was first extended for three months in December 2023. This deadline has been extended multiple times in the past.This program is consistent with the government's ongoing efforts to streamline administrative processes and provide citizens the tools they need to properly manage their Aadhaar data.

Deadline for free Aadhaar updates: March 14, 2024 (This serves as the last extension.)

Who is eligible for a free update: Anyone whose Aadhaar details haven't been updated yet

What is freely updateable: Name, address, and phone number are examples of demographic information (biometric updates still require visiting an Aadhaar center)

Following March 14th, there will be a fee for Aadhaar updates.
