Irene Dkhar will compete for India in the China Miss Tourism World Global Finals.

Irene Dkhar, the current Miss Tourism India, will represent India at the prestigious Miss Tourism World 2025 Global Finals, which will be held in Guangdong, China, on January 10. On December 27, 2024, Dkhar left New Delhi to join competitors from more than 60 nations and regions, including the United States, France, Brazil, Venezuela, and members of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the Belt and Road Initiative.

Both the host nation and the participating countries' tourism and culture industries stand to benefit from the Miss Tourism World pageant. During a news conference on January 3, 2024, in Guangzhou, officials including Ahmed Mustafa Fahmi, the ambassador of the Arab League to China; Sinisha Belyan, the ambassador of Bosnia and Herzegovina to China; andIrene Dkhar has had an incredible journey to the world stage. She received several honors, including Miss Meghalaya 2022, Miss Northeast 2022, Femina Miss India Meghalaya 2023, and Miss Grand India Meghalaya 2024, prior to taking home the Miss Tourism India 2024 title in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
