Due to the India's Got Latent dispute, Maharashtra police have filed a formal complaint against Ranveer Allahbadia and Samay Raina.

Podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia, comedian Samay Raina, and other artists have been charged by the Maharashtra cyber police for allegedly creating pornographic material and airing it on Raina's India's Got Latent show, which caused a great deal of controversy. The Assam police filed a formal complaint against the pair on Monday, making this their second FIR.The police have used, among other provisions, section 67 (transfer of obscene material in electronic form), according to a senior officer who verified the news to The Indian Express.
Thirty persons have been booked by the internet police for allegedly using profane and abusive language throughout the presentation. "We filed a case against 30 people on Monday night, including artists, hosts, judges, and contestants from all six episodes of India's Got Latent. We will be summoning everyone to participate in the police investigation," a senior police officer from the Maharashtra state Cyber police said."We received a complaint and have instructed the police department to stop the show's telecast and immediately take necessary action as per Indian laws, and submit a report to the commission," stated Rupali Chakankar, chairperson of the Maharashtra Women's Commission.
