All-rounder Hardik Pandya of India hasn't played in a World Cup since he twisted his ankle against Bangladesh, which halted his progress nearly three years ago. However, each time it seems like he could be on the verge of recovering, something goes wrong again. He was supposed to be ready for the match against Sri Lanka in the first week of November 2023, but his injury prevented him from playing in the series between South Africa and Australia. In addition, he was not fully fit for the Afghanistan Twenty20 Internationals. It's possible that he won't play in the first half of the next Indian Premier League 2024 if things continue the way they are.Based on the available data, it appears like Hardik had his second major injury of his career in September 2020.

He was forced to miss the tournaments for over a year after his prior injuries. However, upon his return, he had gained strength and vitality from a revitalized back. Allan Donald, a former South African pacer, is concerned about Hardik in the meantime. He says that no matter how much he works on it, Hardik's bowling movement doesn't make for the most pleasant load and release. It's significant because, as part of our early screening program, we screen young children by doing extensive video analyses upon their entry into the system to ensure that, biomechanically speaking, they are perfectly healthy and unlikely to suffer any major injuries.

Thus, it is crucial to begin proper screening at an early age, as reported by Hindustan Times and Donald to Sportstar.
