Castrol India's MD Steps Down, New CEO Takes Over

The present Managing Director, Kedar Lele, will leave at the end of December 2025 in order to pursue other possibilities. He continues to serve as Wholetime Director & Head of B2C Sales, although the company has named Saugata Basuray as Interim CEO, effective January 2026.A board decision states that Lele will formally step down as Managing Director on December 31, 2025, at the end of business. Having worked for Castrol since 1999 in a variety of leadership roles across verticals and territories, Basuray is an experienced veteran of the organization.
