In India, cancer has a significant impact on morbidity and mortality rates. Cancer affects 1 in 29 females at some point in their lives. In my capacity as a gynecologist, I advise cancer screening. Screening is the process of using quick, safe diagnostic techniques to potentially identify diseases that have not yet been diagnosed. BREAST MALIGNANCE It's the most prevalent kind of cancer that affects women. According to GLOBOCAN Date 2020, 10.6% of cancer-related deaths and 13.5% of all cancer cases in India were caused by breast cancer.
Early symptom reporting to a family doctor or gynecologist reduces morbidity and mortality by assisting in the early detection of cancer.Recent recommendations state that in a tertiary care center, staging, surgery, and radiation therapy should be handled by physicians, surgical oncologists, and radiotherapists as part of a multidisciplinary team approach. It is absolutely necessary to follow up, provide counseling, and break the news in an understanding way."
